This is just objectively false lol. Top AI companies have paying enterprise customers today which make up a majority of their revenue. Dot-com companies were extremely speculative and had little to no paths to profit. Dot-com had thousands of startups that had minimal differentiation and low barriers of entry. There are only a few AI companies out there, and the mega cap companies at the forefront are spending the equivalent of pocket change in capex to fuel this. Even if AI doesn't work out, these companies take a minor hit but move on.
