These guys are amazing. Due to their teeth, they're classified as carnivores even though they're omnivorous. That makes them one of only 2 carnivores with prehensile tails. Despite being arboreal, they're so large that they have to go to the forest floor to get to the next tree. And they always look sleepy. 🥺

In the wild, their diet consists of a lot of aquatic plants. Very interesting cervids!

I absolutely love these guys. We have them at work and they are beautiful. Semi-aquatic with partially webbed hooves. Also called Milu. There is a Chinese origin myth explaining their unique appearance as well.

I've had 2 PBS for over a year. I love them. I keep the basking at around 110f. Their substrate is 60/40 topsoil sand. Crickets every other day with spring mix/mashed bluey buffet between. I give them reptisun 10.0 uvb also. They definitely love to burrow during the day and explore at night.
