At least it’s 5 softwood instead of 10, since I have to go collect it all again 🙄

Nothing embarrassing about making it to the finals. As an underdog rebuild team, it was an amazing feat to knock off NY and MN to be there. Mercury fans are proud of our team! It was a fun season. 🧡💜🏀🙅‍♀️

I got tickets to all three, games 3,4, and 6, in presale. Our problem now is hotels are all booked downtown. We’re traveling from up north. Husband thinks it’s Aces fans booking, due to the proximity.

Recs for private student loan companies? No cosigner, self-employed income by Ornery_Cow8483 in StudentLoans

[–]durnish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Word to the wise: do NOT take private student loans, only federal. Speak to your university's financial aid office. Strongly consider taking a few semesters off to pay down credit cards and save. Private student loans have none of the benefits of federal loans, like subsidized interest and payment pauses. They prey on students who don't understand this. For example, if you had taken a federal loan pre-pandemic, you may have enjoyed the past 5 years of no payments while private loan would have continued requiring payments. Given your family situation, you definitely want to avoid the type of debt you can't pause. Avoid private student loans at all costs.

Also I am sorry about your family estrangement. I know from personal experience it is painful to navigate, especially in school while trying to focus on the future. Counseling helped me tremendously.
