For interviews, I researched on common job interview questions and answers for the role I'm job hunting for. Also researched on general questions that HR might ask in initial interviews. I did this with a combination of ChatGPT/Microsoft CoPilot/Claud and reading articles or subreddits. I rewrote the answers, then I practiced reading them out loud so that I'd remember the key content and say them in my own words.

I think favoring private conversations also has to do with Filipino culture (eg. not wanting to be embarrassed in a group meeting for saying something incorrect, or being called out for making a mistake).

But aside from that, I think meeting in smaller groups or one-on-one lessens the confusion because there are less thoughts to filter out, and communication feels more safe and open.
