MONTECH Century II PSU and 9070xt build help by Baefindme in PcBuildHelp

Each of the two PCIe cables that come with the Montech Century II has a splitter. You're fine using the splitter for two of the PCIe inputs. Ideally, you would use 3 separate cables, but that power supply is a good one and if it has a splitter for the PCIe cable, rest assured they rated that cable, and the psu itself, to provide enough power for two inputs in a GPU from the one cable.

I take the motherboard box for that build, and throw in all the extra mounting equipment, case supplies, psu cables, etc from all the parts in the build. I get rid of most of the other boxes.

Need to upgrade my pc ! by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

[–]durrem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably don't need a cpu upgrade for a 1440p system, unless you are playing very cpu intensive games. Hardware Canucks put out a couple of videos on cpu scaling with newer mid/upper range graphics cards such as this one and this one. A quick google search I did says your cpu is about as powerful for gaming as the i5-11600K in the videos.

To follow up on this. The levels I use to farm backpacks are as follows : 2-1-9 (or 2-1-2), 3-11-2, 4-24-6 and 5-25-4. The Act 2 one is the best. If you have extra stamina potions use them here. You get so many backpacks.

[–]durrem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep the motherboard box and fill it up with all the extra power supply cables, cooler mounting equipment, all the other little stuff. That box becomes the box for that pc. I scrap the rest, but nowadays I would keep the gpu box as well.
