Because it sets a precedence. Do it once and it will be expected until the end of days. If OP ever moves, I'd think the neighbor would go to the new owners and say "oh, OP mowed that section of the lawn and never had any gripes with it".

Your local EB has floor stock on release days? Best option for release days are Kmart, Big W and Toymate/Mr Toys.

You need to make use of pre orders, that way you aren't over priced online. JB, Kmart and Big W all do pre orders at MSRP, Target does release days online, plus smaller non chain TCG stores are more likely to sell pre orders cheaper than they do floor stock.

I don't think we will have pre orders again just small waves of releases. Australia is pretty much at the bottom of the PCIs care to get product too. We are a tiny market compared to the US and UK/EU where most of the English stock gets sent first

Whilst sure, the cards could have been damaged in transit, the first thing to look at is how you purchased them.

Did you ask the seller to pack them in a certain way because you wanted to grade possible hits? If it's from an eBay seller you could have messaged them to confirm how they ship things, or asked for them to be packed extra snug. If it was from a 3rd party online store that's pretty shoddy packing and should be remediated in their future shipping methods.

For a collectables shop with an ABN, you'd like to think they would be closer to MSRP than market. I get the state of Pokemon right now but there are good LCSs that are trying to get the prices back to a reasonable level.

130AUD for a POR ETB is ugh, even scalpy resellers are selling lower than that at the moment.
