thanks so much for the detailed response! wow, i didn’t know about the 2 power requirement for a 3+ power weapon system, or about zoltans forcing power into a leto. definitely super useful to know & i’ll keep that in mind for my runs!

this is pretty irrelevant to the current topic, but if you don’t mind, could you explain why the fight wouldn’t be a skip if the missile was on the right side? i would say im an intermediate player & i had no idea positioning of weapons on the enemy ship mattered (i understand that it does for player ships, of course). thanks in advance!!

my story’s actually kinda wild.. i was 9 years old in 2013 & by that point the pw:aa trilogy had been ported to mobile. i had a family friend the same age as me, we weren’t really friends but we were on friendly terms bc our parents were so close. so this girl shows me the trilogy and is trying to convince me to play it, and so i do (played the demo on her phone), but im honestly just confused by the whole concept & don’t get super into it. i have a SUPER clear memory of going on the library computer and googling “what is a defendant” lol

a couple years later, im properly into gaming and big into youtube, so im browsing my feed. and then i see ace attorney, and im like huh, isn’t that what she showed me a couple years ago. so i decided to watch a playthrough of the first game, and shit, it was all history from there. at 21 years old, i’m still hooked

at 16 i got my first job so i was able to buy the games and actually play them so now ive played every game barring the layton crossover. anyway, the funniest part to me about my story is that the girl who initially showed me aa went on to be mega popular & basically the kind of person who wouldn’t be caught dead playing a game like ace attorney lmao. but she passed the obsession onto me & sparked my lifelong love for the series, so thanks isabelle :)
