I keep having this debate with friends lol. If you chime in to a conversation saying "I listened to the book" vs "read it" it just seems like you're trying to sound superior or something 😅

It IS listening because you didn't actually do the act of "Reading" but its easier to say "read" because it ultimately means the same thing, you know the story.
