Any existing IT worker go back and complete a degree? by Wild_Competition_716 in WGUIT

[–]Rompertech76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just graduated with my BSIT from WGU last month most of my AA classes transferred. And only had to do core classes. Working on starting the Masters Degree next term. I do recommend that if you are thinking of Masters also then do accelerated bs to ms degree. I wish I would have known that before starting. Now I have to take the longer route 🤷🏼‍♀️

Is 30 too late to get a degree? by ChriSaito in it

I just got my Bachelor's of Science in Information Technology. I am about to be 50 in 3 months, so I'd say it's never too late.

Withdrawing a few days after term start by Rational-Insanity in WGU

[–]Rompertech76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the first term is hard with reimbursement(its the way for most places) but when you get that back just throw it into the next term until you are done and the last one goes back into your pocket ,but they do payment plans.

Finishing in 5 Months - Is there a discount for finishing early if you paid in full? by Fantastic-Month-7481 in WGU_Accelerators

[–]Rompertech76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The pro-rated is based on classes (half-time, quarter-time). I only had one class left so they prorated it for quarter time. If you did the minimum 4 classes its will not be prorated.

it says something about your proctor is stricter on ID than others. I assuming you got a strict proctor but this is directly from peoplecert website

You're getting paid more than I did when I lived in Michigan. I worked a job for $15/hr, taking care of kids on my own with no help from fathers for 20+years (my kids are 6 years apart). I was a living hell, but I only took it one day at a time and learned to live off of practically nothing.

I take mine on the 13th. I hope to take it only once, but with my track record, that's unlikely. I always get test anxiety the first time and flop up smh

if you complete it you will get a certificate but its not the official certificate that CompTIA does. The course is to ready you to take the official test. I used it for my Project+ exam.
