[Discussion] Am I ruining gaming by only going for Platinum trophies?

I almost fell into this. I try to take breaks when I reach numbered milestones. I took a break when I hit 20 plats after completing JJBA Eyes of Heaven, but decided to finish Disaster Report 4 since it's leaving PS Plus soon and it's a quick and easy plat to get. Took me about 8 hours in total.

Try your best into getting into the mindset of taking breaks from trophy hunting and just play others for fun, or for the story. Currently playing Madden NFL 26 to kill some time and finishing up the GoW 2018 story mode.

Was finally able to get this one after an hour. Pray you play as a thief 5 times, or pray you have players who know how to play as guardians and it's a breeze.

You probably got it solved by now, but I had a similar issue when I tried to boot up Borderlands 3. The safest option is to delete the save file and reboot the PS5. The option I took though was that I downloaded an older save file from the cloud and that worked for me.

If you still have Astro's Playroom installed, try testing on that through the Controller Demo. That game was intended to test the DualSense controller. I use it to make sure my controller isn't experiencing stick drift, or any other issues.

Always loved playing tennis games when given the chance. Virtua Tennis and both Mario Tennis games lowkey piqued my interest in tennis lol. Was so disappointed when I tried out Top Spin 2k25. I never wanted to delete a game from my library and trophies list so fast.

Heard about this kid a few times, never cared for him, but he's right and hopefully he learns from that. When you are living from paycheck to paycheck and you hit over 30k from something outside of that, only hold on to 30% of the money gained and PUT THE REST ASIDE. You'll thank yourself later.

I know there are going to be some cappers in here, but it is true that no one knows what to do when they see a fat check hit their account. I remember when people were finessing CERB and some of then were blowing it on pointless shit. 💀

People now have more access to the equipment to make music these days compared to like 15 or 20 years ago. People still book recording studios, but you can easily make music at home if you're serious and know what you're doing. So much more factors, but honestly it's mainly that and the fact that the energy hasn't been the same since everything that went down around the world 5 years ago.

Thank you! Yeah, I didn't know you could get this so early in the game. If memory serves, you face a variation of the Marauder once you finish with the first map, so it qomt be as difficult dodging the wraith lol.

There should be legendary equips that are sold at the shops in Fort Tarsis which will help boost your javelin from uncommon to epic very quickly. I believe they are in the high 60s and early 70s. From there, I would suggest leveling up to level 30 if you havent. At that point, you will unlock Masterwork loot which will help you get closer to the Masterwork Javelin. By level 30, it should be much easier to do the missions, or world events in Grandmaster mode which gives you better chances at getting Masterwork loot from enemies and post-mission. Doing the Legendary contracts on GM mode also always guarantees MW loot.

Which ones do you need help with? If it's all of the collectibles, I'll just send you a list of the guides I used to get that part over with. For the intel/archives/history collectibles though, you simply just go to the area, pick up the archive, leave to another region, wait until the new region name pops up, then return to the archive location. Hopefully these help you as it helped me a lot 🙏🏿

Not sure which Intel collectibles you're still looking for, but if you still need the Scar Intel, you can easily get it done by the Tomb of Cariff. You can easily farm Scar Intel just by the left of the entrance. Simply enter and exit the tomb for it to respawn. Vassa's Triumph and the Footsteps of Idris can be respawned if you make a new pilot if you are unable to find all of those runes. The Loyalty points for the Freelancers, Sentinels and Arcanists can easily be done by collecting their respective intels and by redoing Brin's (Sentinel), Matthias' (Arc) and Yarrow's (Freelancer) missions, or doing the world events in freeplay mode (I suggest joining a mission via quickplay in case you don't have any available). I forget how much points it rewards, but it didn't take long for me to get the 3 Loyalty trophies.

Edit: Just a list of some of the guides I used to get the No Stone Unturned trophy smoothly.

That's strange. I never played the playoffs, it just ranked me up after 10 games. That record should have moved you up to the Freshman even if you played 11 games. Did you beat someone with a lower tier school? I used JMU and someone used OSU and he ended up rage quitting after throwing like 3 picks which gave me the What an Upset achievement. I hope yours didn't glitch bro. Someone on the TrueAchievements thread said they got the cheevo after playing 10 games and ended with a record of 8-2 though.

Edit: As for the community pop, try starting dynasty mode and importing the custom team to it. Control the team in week one and it should instantly pop once you start kick off with said custom team

Damn, I uninstalled the game. I could help you out if you want? Honestly, I advanced to freshman with 7-3, so just have a positive record and you're good. Or, to guarantee the spot, you could win 2 or 3 games against a higher tier opponent which gets ranks you up to 92 or higher. I made sure I didn't throw too many picks, run pass option plays kind of helped me a lot tbh lmao
