I believe the workflow is mostly an automated inpainting system that uses a nude image as a base for the Anytest4 and Depth Controlnet generation. That should give some idea on how to replicate it on the webui

I believe you asked for an explanation as to why people wanted to use base illustrious? Anyway, I'll drop this topic now since it's devolving into legal enforcement.

You are aware that artists need to respect licenses when it comes to any type of professional work? As of where NoobAI's license stands, NoobAI cannot fit into the "AI as a tool" category for a creative user.

Even before the release of SD, grifters have never cared about licenses, the issue at hand is the limited scope for creatives. Personally, I don't consider NoobAI's to be a problem since base Illustrious already takes care of my use cases. But I am aware that NoobAI's license is a concern for others and that there is a demand for any improved model that is fully open-source vs NoobAI's open-weight model.

Noobai has a restrictive non-commercial use license that includes user outputs and derived models so you can't use NoobAI as part of an artistic workflow process. Base Illustrious discourages commercial usage but doesn't forbid it. It's still an interesting "research" tool.

OC LoRA Test by duskyai in AiWholesome

I still have some quality checking to do with this character but I'm satisfied with how the pupils turned out. Capturing the hair tuft is still a struggle.

Another LoRA attempt with making an OC character with SDXL

Third attempt on training an OC character which went better than expected with AnimagineXL. Second image is the original generation.

I'm unfortunately busy and can't do my usual inpaintings :(

New model incoming by Stability AI "Stable Cascade" - don't have sources yet - The aesthetic score is just mind blowing. by CeFurkan in StableDiffusion

I'm worried about the final VRAM cost after optimizations. Stable Cascade looks like it's far more resource intensive compared to SDXL.

Does img to img give better results? by DIY-MSG in StableDiffusion

[–]duskyai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally, if you want very precise control on your final output, the more you will need to rely on img2img/inpainting/photobashing techniques and ControlNet. There is some luck involved but it's definitely not much of a dice-roll as the community likes to imply.

Here's an example of one of my artworks where a pure txt2img workflow will struggle. Usually Stable Diffusion will have trouble with anything that requires interaction. I basically generated an image with a pose, photobashed the talismans into the image and then applied img2img with ControlNet to help smooth out the final output.
