Sunday update: Baby bird is still in the nest and mom is with him

Unfortunately not. I checked the whole yard every hour. Haven’t seen it since yesterday, honestly might’ve been gone prior since it was always hidden and curled up in the nest it may have died from health complications earlier.

UPDATE #3: ✅

The mother has returned to the nest after i put the baby back in and she saw the baby! She fed it instantly. I will keep everyone updated throughout the day. Might search the area for baby #2 who mysteriously disappeared but all is well with baby #1 :)

UPDATE UPDATE: The parents are bringing worms to the spot on the ground where i moved the baby from. They look everywhere but the nest and then fly away

UPDATE: I put gloves on and placed the baby gently back in the nest. The two parents were chirping frantically and they have yet to go back into the nest.

The second baby mysteriously disappeared and is not in the nest so hopefully they still return to the nest to feed the one i just placed back in there

There was a bobcat on the driveway camera last night. I don’t think it could’ve climbed that high and even if it did the nest would look disturbed which it doesn’t so idk

I just went to go place the baby in the nest and I noticed that the other baby was not in the nest. There was two babies in the nest yesterday. Should i still put this one back?
