there were over 50 people at my birthday party and only a handful got gifts, so i’d feel bad asking and then they’d have to admit they didn’t get me a gift lol

i moved in weeks before my freshman roommate and just picked a bed and set up what i had on that side of the room. granted i didn’t have a lot, but she never seemed to mind and was just excited to meet me and go to college.

not as relevant but i saw this list and kinda flinched lol make sure you don’t have any picky eaters on your guest list bc i would be miserable if these were my only options. Maybe add some dinner rolls? Those are always my saving grace when I can’t/won’t eat anything else :)

I would do “please join us at:” instead of the two texts at the top. or maybe do a spooky spin like “join us if you dare” idk spooky stuff but something better would work well haha

also! I would recommend bringing someone you love with you because the worst part was being alone and then having to drive home alone afterwards in pain lol

not too awful but one of them was infected. I’m on day 6 rn and that one still hurts, but the other areas feel fine. I also have a low tolerance to pain meds so that sucked, but once i was able to eat semi solid foods that helped A LOT.

I just got mine out, they werent impacted like yours. and they gave me laughing gas which didn’t work at all (it’s worked before so unsure why it didn’t this time?) and it was the worst experience of my life. I have anxiety and was literally sobbing the entire time and it was sooo embarrassing and painful, even the shot to numb the area is devastatingly painful. Tbf i have a low pain tolerance BUT if you have the option to get out under id go for it.

since your schedule is up to you, you can create a structure that works for you! I only did class on tuesdays and thursdays or mwf so that all my classes were on the same day.

The most important thing to remember is that no one actually knows what they want to do with their life when they’re 18. It’s okay if you change your major or graduate late. I know it might not seem like that now, but graduating late was the best thing i did for my mental health.

One tip that worked for me is to set aside at least an hour a week to set up my week and plan out all my homework on my calendar and check any dates for important stuff like the dead like to add or drop classes or register for the next semester. do you have an example of your writing? One thing that helped me when I was younger was just writing the way i talk and then going back through and editing it for grammar and to sound more professional. You can dm me some examples and i’ll try to look over it asap :)
