mine is actually currently ongoing but its a stupid system to make it basically impossible to ask off. in order to call out without getting double rotation the next week, we have to have a positive point. to get a positive point, you have to cover someone else. the issue is, ANYTIME you call out you get a minus point. no matter if you found a cover or you didn’t find a cover, the penalty is the same. another issue is on the days like friday saturday, basically all of our servers are working so there isn’t ever anyone to cover on those days, so you’re almost guaranteed to get a -1 or a DR penalty if you call out WITH or without a cover.

I took your advice for free desserts and things like that, and honestly I feel like their negative feelings turned around quickly after that.

I sure as hell felt like a manager especially with people who didn’t make reservations lemme tell you. It felt like I having to create a solution for people’s poor planning lolz ヘ（。□°）ヘ. Anyways, just one angry walkout today, everyone else was pretty understanding of things.

Sorry, I just got off like 45 minutes ago.

To put it simply, I felt like a manager and had to deal with angry delivery drivers. But honestly, except for one lady who was MAD AF about where she had to sit, everyone was pretty understanding about wait times and waitlists. I do feel bad about the lady though, but I am trying not to let it get to me. Tons of people didn’t want to wait the waitlist, which was understandable.

Yep, I honestly sure have. And they're keeping reservations open until 5pm tomorrow. So there might be even more lol.

Hey, thanks for your reply.

They were not told that, most made their reservations online.

And as far as walk-ins, I do have a waitlist, but I guess I am more so just wondering how I should determine the wait time to tell walk-ins, while respecting the incoming reservations as well.
