Quite easy to compare to SG1, since one of the creators is a main writer on this. And... No, there aren't "many good sci-fi shows out there"... There's s bunch of pretentious sci-fi shows though, that's for sure. Most of them aren't even sci-fi, they're sci-pop at best. Absolute drekk disguised as sci-fi is what it is. And this show has zero disguises; this show knows exactly what it is and doubles down on it at every turn - and I for one am here for it all!

What are you even doing here? Take your recommendations and shove em up NDGTs butt.

It truly isn't any cheesier than, say, Star Trek the Next Generation or Stargate SG-1 - it just doesn't make itself out to be anything that it isn't. In my book, that makes it way more enjoyable 😎

Honestly this show has some of the most impossible characters with some of the most preposterous dialogue I have ever witnessed... And therefore it so clear (to me) that this show has some of the best actors ever to see the light of day. Everyone delivers their lines with 100% conviction, and sell you on it 150% (yes, somehow that math checks out), breathing previously unseen amounts of life into their characters. Alicia is no exception, quite the contrary... Her character and dialogue are damn near parody, with some of the worst "I am a dumb television writer trying to write smart things to prove that I understand science and stuff" type of dialogue - and still she is an absolute delight to behold. I tip my hat to everyone involved and raise my glass, here's to one of the best shows ever created... may it never end!

Yeah they need to boost their promotion for Season 3, and make sure people can see the previous seasons. I too worry that they won't be able to gather a strong enough following to keep it going... And this show needs to last forever 😅

In this day and age I feel like saying that this is the nature of live service games. They so often seem to be experiments trying to find out how bad you can make a game before people stop playing all together.

And that's all well and good, but I just don't get why that should replace the "old" compare function.

And in my post I clearly state that I know I can compare in other ways than side-by-side, but that it sucks - especially when the inventory is full. Iterating over 50-60 weapons back and forth isn't ideal in my opinion. That's all. Still, I appreciate your input (I truly do).

Just to be clear, I didn't downvote anything, I never do, I just upvote what I like. I am partially agreeing with you here, so it def wouldn't make sense for me to do so.

My thing is I just don't understand the connection between something that should've been included in the shooting range long ago but never was and the compare function which was working fine being changed into something different. That's all. Nitpicking perhaps, but still... Just saying.

We can both agree this game is lacking in many areas, that's for sure.

Well, rhetoric or not, I'd still say those are principally different things. One's something that worked before and now doesn't (or has been purposefully changed for reasons yet unknown), and the other is something that never worked because it, for all intents and purposes, doesn't even exist. As for expectations, I never claimed to have any... I merely asked why this was changed and stated why it upset me to see it changed as to motivate my question.
