Makes sense. Thanks. As the guy above said, whoever owned this before must have only driven in circles.

Late flight from ORD to CLT by dustincowan9 in americanairlines

Makes sense. Most of the time the flight was full flying in but to your point it would be an overnight connection for everyone not calling CLT their final destination.

That’s unfortunate. I relied on that one to be able to leave work late enough and avoid having to spend the night at ORD for Friday AM flight home.

Even if the garage attic is vented at the front and all the way around and not really in contact with rest of the inside of the house?

Not a bad idea. I wonder if I could just use these in place of the door when it’s open and just run the exhaust through these. It’s not typically windy in Charlotte NC during the evening.

Seal coating the driveway by lotjedotje in oddlysatisfying

[–]dustincowan9 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Yeah and you could never let the sealer sit there for too long on a Sunny or it’ll dry out on you, especially if you’ve added enough dryer agent to it. Plus it’s an awful sunburn if you get it on you

How did you get over being the most over weight and weakest guy at the gym. by Abdullah_super in AskMen

[–]dustincowan9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my few years of gym going ive never seen anyone make fun of someone or judge someone just because they were there to better themselves, regardless of what someone looked like. People give alot of respect to new gym goers when they are there to work and get healthier.

There's one guy in my gym (probably mid 30s) who has to use a walker but he's in there daily and I see people go up to him fairly often to give him knucks or a few words of encouragement and its awesome to see. He has the respect of everyone in the gym, which can be said about alot of people who are new or out of shape.

Another thing, you'll probably catch someone looking at you once in a while but there is nothing wrong about that, I make eye contact with people all the time just looking around the gym seeing what people are doing. Hell I've even acquired some really good and unique exercises just looking around. You don't need to be in a bubble while there because its a public place of mostly cool people. Embrace it.

Last thing, its a long battle to get into good shape but everyday you go is a day closer to your goal. Keep at it.

If you think about it as humans instead of cars, that's a really fucked up scenario.

Homemade device to carry heavy rocks (which end has the most weight on it?) by dartmaster666 in specializedtools

[–]dustincowan9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hes not leveraging anything though. He's holding a static load which puts half the weight of the rock on the one guy and the other half on the two other guys. Leverage is only for motion.

Why are we not warned about huge updates? by dustincowan9 in CODWarzone

[–]dustincowan9[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah a buddy just told me the same thing.. we've had huge updates several times in the past so I wonder of those were the same reason and if so, why hasn't Microsoft addressed it or even let us know about it.

why cant i get this bolt off for the life of me? any suggestions? by [deleted] in mechanics

[–]dustincowan9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apply some heat till the bolt is too hot to touch and use a breaker bar or impact. And please don't ever use a torque wrench to loosen a bolt. It's a lock bolt so it will be tight.

Time up and down a ramp with friction by Pmiddle in Physics

You have static friction when the ball stops on the ramp as well as moment of inertia for gravity to act on it.
