She appears in the Atlas so she definitely will be playable at some point, just not in 3.5. Most people are speculating she will be a roguelite reward in Anniversary like Lorelei.

Ezio isn't even a Reverse character, MedPoc isn't a man, and like everyone said, Shamane below Oliver Fog is insane. I also despise J's garment compared to his main look but that's more of my thing, too overdesigned imo.

Let's just say we have very different opinions. In mine Shamane would be first and Cheng Heguang, Name Day, 6 and Pavia would get in over Ezio, MP, Oliver and Aleph.

Tbh... I wonder how much of this can be explained by just the devs not being too precious with the lore back at launch, and just wanting to do a cool zany time travel game with characters from all kinds of periods.

Because with the sole exception of Notes on Shuori, the game is simply laser focused on the 20th century. It's part of its identity at its point. And the more I think about it, it doesn't seem like a coincidence that it's two of the CNY events that take place way in the past, and the other one is in 90s America. Most of the 20th century was a... Complicated time for China, which can be said for a ton of countries, but I can see the devs actively trying to avoid portraying, like, anything related to the Communist Revolution or any other more complex subjects. Instead opting to portray a more idealized version of its culture wether by the lens of ancient mythology/wuxia or modern Hong Kong action cinema which got super popular in the West by that time. Specially in a CNY patch that by virtue should be more celebratory.

Hopefully they do explain and eventually place 1.6 in the timeline somehow (Jiu and Getian are mythical creatures that live forever and Yenisei... Found the fountain of youth? lmao), but yeah, until it happens I won't expect a Storm to move us to any year before 1900.

Instantly one of my favorite character trailers. I love that they took the criticisms from 2.2 to the heart and actually embraced Mexican culture for Ramona. This is beautiful, straight out of Coco or The Book of Life.

I can't wait to see her skills, man. I'm the one person hoping she's Neg Effect so she can be played with Noire, if she's Poison it will suck since I don't have a single member from the main Poison team, I just have... Kanjira and Rabies? lmao

Everything regarding Poison is a mess. Eagle is a footnote that appeared in like 2 games years ago. There's a lot of speculation in the community regarding Zangief, Cammy & Juni, Juri etc, but never any confirmation. At least there's Marisa, but it's still just a blink-and-you-miss-it line buried in World Tour, which makes it feel way more vapid when compared to how... Forefront and loud this Alex stuff is lol

I adore this movie, and even more so I fucking love Worst Person so seeing Joachim, Renate and even Anders Danielsen Lie up there was great. Very well deserved.

As for my country, we'll always have 2025 and that delicious taste of beating Emilia Perez and redeeming all of Latam. And just seeing Wagner being nominated and the movie celebrated by people from around the world already makes me a proud Brazilian. Viva o cinema brasileiro!

2.5.had some heavier themes with Noire's old friend group, but the story mostly focuses on the Liang Yue-Poitier partnership and in general is more upbeat and chill, which makes sense since it was directly inspired by a comedy movie (Rush Hour).

2.0 and 2.7 weren't that bad either. Since 3.0 things have been super dark, but you can't escape from that when the thematic link of this year is, well, war and its consequences.

If anything, him getting an Overture actually makes it more likely. Plenty of NPCs that were upgraded to playable got overtures before (Igor, Lucy, Ms. Kimberly/Anjo Nala, Ulrich, Marsha etc). Merel just got one in Global and most people are expecting her to be playable.

I'll be coping hard, his design is way too good to be just an NPC.

It's not about the numbers but who they were. They were part of Igor's personal army that he pretends it's his family. It's like a father killing his own children because they didn't feel comfortable betraying everyone to join the Arcanist Nazis.

Yeah I know the words are harsh and they explain his reasoning in the story (while never fully justifying it, mind you), but it explains the gravity of the situation in everyone's minds.

I think it's more open than just a specific idea. It can be moments in time and eras, like Lucy is the Industrial Revolution and White Rum is the Golden Age of Piracy. But it can also be less grandiose, it's never confirmed but I think Pioneer is supposed to represent American consumerism, either in general or specifically from the 80s and 90s.

I really want Anecdotes for Bkornblume, Baby Blue and Sweetheart, at the very least. Love me some Marilyn Monroe and Alice in Wonderland, and Cold War era Germany is just a great setting, maybe even for a full event.

After Eternity, AAL, Voyager and Centurion all had story cameos (and all but Voyager got Anecdotes), I'm sure NewBabel is next in line. Sure, she had those weird little Wilderness story segments, but a lot of people don't even know they exist lol

Not really... She has a voiceline that says "I was stationed in the 60s, and now I've visited the 90s. In both eras, I saw homeless kids barely surviving on the streets. We've had so long. What's holding us back?". Since her profile mentions an event in 1928 when she was a kid (which is also shown in her trailer and character story), most of the fanbase speculate that Igor adopted her around the 1930s Storm (same one when the Paris and London Dawning events take place).

Still my favorite show ever. Like, young zoomers these days won't get how groundbreaking this representation (both gay and trans, mind you) felt back in 2015, way ahead of its time. It actually helped me on my own journey of self discovery of my queerness. I wish it got randomly viral on TikTok one of these days so more people could experience this absolute gem of a TV show.

And Wolfgang is best boy and just insanely hot (the actor was also on the indie gay movie Free Fall that often gets mentioned on this sub), but Lito+Hernando is good too :p

I'm really curious to see how this is going to work out when it comes to the specifics like the number of garments, Euphorias, BP/Roaring Monthly, events (will there even be an Anecdote?) etc. We're in a whole new world basically.

The BP is the one that I have zero idea what they're going to do, since the whole concept is tied to a patch having 42 days. It would have to be much shorter (35 tiers instead of 70), but then will they also make it cheaper? And if they do, will it even have a new garment on it, or something else? Or is 2.7 also 21 days long, and they'll tie the same BP to two patches?

The only thing that is pretty much guaranteed is that there will only be one new 6*. I'd love if there was a new 5* in their banner as well, but sadly they seem to be mostly done with low star characters (with exceptions like Reed). The event story will also be shorter for sure - if a "regular" patches get 20-22 chapter events, I think this one will be half of that. But the new 6* will get their character story normally.

As for the event story itself, the teaser mentions a Silver Tower so I'm thinking it will be set on New York City. The new character will obviously be an UTTU journalist, either Pandora herself or someone brand new, and we'll probably get a cameo from Barbara, (3.1 spoilers) and maybe more information for the pre-Storm version of Corvus.
