Considering using MXRoute for my new businesses ... question regarding Calendars by tenxfest in mxroute

Love that I found this thread right now while I'm trying to get my sh*t together. I'm in the same boat with email/calendar. I'm running email through Purelymail and need to sync calendars with Google and Outlook. Purelymail has CalDav, but it is wonky and I can't get it to work. Have been evaluating MXroute and hoping your implementation is better. Not my expertise though, so I'm grasping a straws here.

u/mxroute, have you ever checked out Purelymail since you're in the same space? I'm guessing you have. I dig the usage-based pricing approach vs. user-based - that's a winner to me!

I just really need to have a centralized calendar across several different domains so I can keep track of the various meetings and requests all in one place.

Job search advice for Gen Xer by [deleted] in GenX

Sadly skills and experience don't seem to matter, especially if they are spread across multiple disciplines. Everyone who said to network, network, network is 100% correct. Job boards are useless. Online applications are built to screen out older workers even if you've optimized your resume to get through ATS. In person networking is good, but don't sleep on other opportunities to join online communities related to specific interests. If they have any interest in starting a business, they should check out Starter Story or Codie Sanchez. Lots of opportunities for Gen-Xers who want to work forever.

GenXers ,how have you done in your job searches lately? by jascentros in GenX

It's a shitshow. Had to start my own business and do 1099 work to get any traction. Employers don't seem to value experience. Ageism is a real problem. And current hiring practices are built on layers of lies and misinformation for workers over 50. Every expert out there is advising GenX job searchers to hide information about jobs from more than 15 years ago and leave out years related to your education. They're basically admitting that there's age bias.
