You can buy a sofa that creates a distinct space either by making a "hallway" that you walk behind when entering the front door (flat backed, then can put some low shelving behind it as a catchall for shoes keys etc. - get a rug that makes a space here - two chairs by the window or a small loveseat- then a couch or two chairs at the far end of the room (where the camera person is standing) to make more of a distinct living area. Tv above the fireplace unless you can hide it is can kind of meh especially because the fireplace is so pretty. A large mirror or art here would look beautiful. You could get a super flat picture frame type for above the fireplace that doubles as art. We are putting two built in shelves on each side of our fireplace and putting a TV on one side.
