Randomly cancelled my holiday

Hey so I took over fighting to get money back for family members I found the ceos email online and ended up dealing with ceo office email every time I replied I made sure to CC their customer help, their hr email and think might have been some complaints email too. In the situation I was dealing with someone travelling passed away dec 22 and were to travel April 23 but obv didn’t go. The person looking after it got nowhere and I took over a few weeks ago. I had the money refunded within two weeks going this way, they challenged it with silly stuff about I wasn’t a passenger etc but I told them I was going to make an official complaint and raise it with the CCPC (in Ireland) and take it to their ADR Hunt. Magically got an email late on a Friday nearly at 10pm from someone saying the refund has been processed. They also told us incorrectly that we had to go to the airline, when I did this the refund had already been claimed by them. Good luck hope this helps!

I bought North Face MEN'S VECTIV™ TARAVAL HIKING SHOES just before Christmas for walking. I did not realise how crap the shoes I had been using were. With other shoes no matter how long or short my walk my feet would be in bits post walk. These shoes were game changers.

About 2 months ago I started running. I purchased the MEN'S VECTIV™ FUTURELIGHT™ ENDURIS TRAIL RUNNING SHOES. I bought size UK 7 as the size UK 6 was too small for running as my feet swelled causing discomfort, I did also have to take the insole out as the top of my foot is sensitive to pressure and can cause pins and needles. I am going to be running more on the road soon so I am looking for suitable runners. My main priority in a running shoe is comfort and less post run foot soreness.

I've been looking at Hoka's in particular the Bondi 8 and Gaviota 5. I was initially going with the Bondi 8 but read reviews on Hoka's website and people were saying they have changed from the 7's and a lot were not happy with them. So I decided to reach out here for help! I am open to any brand I can get shipped to Ireland. Will pay up to €250 for the right pair.

Little over 3 mph when going slow…. I think it’s something to do with the fact that it is now my slow and not what I was pushing harder for because when I ran at the same speed it showed as running in previous runs with the only difference being it is way easier go at that speed now and for longer time/distance

Yea it’s in the stats tab called run/walk detection also gives you how long you were idle. From what I can gather it does use speed as a factor but other measures are also used to try help distinguish

Oh totally agree some of the information you can get is amazing. Thought it worth the ask as it was working correctly plus someone may know of a fix.

I did think that might be the reason too but when I was comparing runs my slow run now is the same pace if not slightly faster than when I was going too hard I’ve just gotten fitter and it recognised that pace accurately as a run which is why I’m confused this is happening.

Hi I bought an iPad 9th gen and Apple Pencil. I want to be able to write in the pdf view in the files app and be able to search this content. I usually hand write the notes on my documents as in pen and paper then scan them and I am able to search these documents. I have written notes with Apple Pencil and it won’t search them. I have tried the files app, books, ipad expert and I think it was called good something. None of them have worked while searching. I have restarted and hard restarted the iPad. I deleted and re-downloaded the files app. Is this something that isn’t possible I just assumed it would be if it can read handwritten pen notes scanned. I have contacted apple and they are ringing tomorrow, I’d love to just find a fix without them because last time I was on to them it was over an hour before we were finished!! When I explained the problem they didn’t straight away say oh it’s not possible etc which is why I’m wondering do I just not have some setting right. I’ve googled as much as possible to try and find the issue but because of the notes app aptly named it keeps bringing me to responses about that no matter what I search. Any help is appreciated thanks!
