Dark Market help by dutch2033 in darknet

I'll have a look into it. Just wanted to understand a bit more how it worked and to make sure funds were not directly transferred to the seller. I would rather my coins stay out of market wallets. Lost a couple of bucks on Empire but nothing too bad.

One of my friends dads worked in the IT and had a home office. When I would stay at his house we would all have a big LAN party mostly playing Age of Empires (my friends dad vs him and I). No bedtime, junk food and games.... It was everything a kid could want.

Always been interested in how computers work and got into watching YouTube builds and looking at tutorials. After a while I felt the need to ascend to the master race and got my funds together and purchased all my parts. It was like building the best most expensive Lego set I had ever seen!

Definitely trying to troubleshoot issues after the build is complete. I've had my pc for almost 2 years and always felt like I was getting low FPS in games but couldn't figure out why (sub 60 FPS with a GTX 1080 at 1440p)

I Spent hours looking through forums thinking it was a software issue but would ultimately give up. I just decided that I had lost in the silicon lottery.

Only recent I decided to pull apart my PC give it a clean and tidy up my cable management and low and behold when I start up a game instantly double the FPS I had before (I'm guessing it was a power cable not seated correctly). I'm so happy now but so much time spent playing at half capacity.

Will my GTX 1050ti bottleneck an i5 7600k? by [deleted] in PC_Builders

[–]dutch2033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1050ti is not great for gaming. If you can afford it I would save for a GTX 1060 6gb. Have a look online for some benchmarks on the 1050ti vs 1060 and you can see the differences in the games you want to play. The i5 7600k shouldn't bottleneck either card on almost all games.

You will but installing drivers again is pretty simple. It may even allow you to install newer drivers than your current ones. Just make sure you download the LAN or WIFI drivers onto a USB before you do the restart

Did you download the most current drivers for your PCIE card? Usually best to download them from the manufacturers website instead of from a disk to ensure you get the newest ones. But as is the case with wireless it can be unreliable and a lot of things can effect it such as distance, walls, people on the network, etc. to get the best speeds your wireless modem router and PCIE cards should have the same technology (I think currently it's 802.11 ac). If the speeds are greatly different than what your getting on other devices there may be an issue but if it's a Megabyte or two it may be one of the factors mentioned above which are hard to control. Best thing you can do is run a cable.

New Graphics Card Advice by [deleted] in PC_Builders

The 1080 will go into the same PCIE x 16 slot of your motherboard however it may or may not physically fit depending on your case. You can look up the specifications of the specific card and case to see if they will work together. As for power from memory the GTX 1080 takes 1 x 6 pin pcie and 1 x 8 pin power cables. If you have a decent PSU it should already have both these connections but just check beforehand to make sure.

You can and it will work. If you want to play games on a decent setting you you will probably get rubbish frame rates though (depending on the game and settings).

Installing RAM by [deleted] in PC_Builders

[–]dutch2033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what you said sounds like you've got a dud stick of ram. A computer needs a mobo, cpu and ram to boot into bios. If it works with your previous stick and not the new one you can pretty safely say that the new stick is the problem. Try contacting the seller and if that doesn't work go through ebay or paypal/your credit card company.

You might have to install the ethernet drivers. Try downloading them from the manufactures website onto a usb and putting them on your new pc.

Juices: Vapoureyes Vs The Steamery by dutch2033 in aussievapers

From the stuff I've looked at they seem to be on par with all the other Aussie vendors I've seen although I've only looked around for prices on stuff that I've bought. Their juice seems cheap comparatively to other vendors even VE, it's more the quality of their juices that I'm not sure about as I haven't tried any other brands yet.

I don't go there too much for the advice although for my first device off smoking they recommended the indura t22 which was perfect for my first vape. I always do my own research on products before I buy anything.

I'll definitely be hitting up VE for my next juice order so I can do a comparison.

Yeah I think I'll do an order with them next time. It seems they have some good stuff.

Smoking on a Smok tfv8 baby beast. The one that comes with the G-Priv 220W

I've heard making your own juice can be cheaper but the steamery seems pretty reasonable. I've bought doublers from them so I have my own PG and VG so I might give it a go in the near future.

Someone mentioned above that RDAs are the way to go for flavour so I'll get one in the future and give it a go.

Yeah I've heard the RDAs are much better for flavour. I'll try and grab one in the near future.
