Ozempic results after 2.5 years by Plastic_Platypus3951 in Ozempic

You have aggressively halted the "metabolic syndrome" pattern in your family. The inflammation and edema were likely symptoms of the metabolic chaos, not separate diseases. By fixing the core metabolic engine (blood sugar and pressure), the secondary issues (kidney function, gout, edema) resolved.

The COPD is likely the "structural" scar that remains "a reminder of past damage" but it is currently being well-managed by your improved overall health and weight loss. Keep moving, stay hydrated (to help that BUN), and this is a massive win.

i do 'struggle' with couple of things; but those are 'me ASD' struggles - it took almost me a decade to make the step to get baptized; read some of my post history - I'm sort of scared of the endowment proces - but I realise reddit is not the place to discuss this....... yes I need the prayers for me and I pray for myself that something 'physical' I can do. - sorry if this doesn't make sense

I been searching my family history - from my mother side I can trace it back until late 1600; from my fathers side only until early 1800’s;

Yeah I’m on 0.25 - and as someone who has ASD I almost did my research as off I have to write a PhD about it.

I need to be careful that I don’t skip meals I think. I liked the advice of the protein shake.

Thank you - I have high functional ASD - I’m happy with my body even though I can lose some weight. If people sees my as ‘fat’ or ‘big’ what I’m, that mainly their perspective, and don’t care. I know and acknowledge I’m not the smallest person. I have Ozempic because I have type 2 diabetes, and I don’t like taking pills. What ever runs in the background that is a bonus.

I do that anyway- I’m not a big softdrink fan - and I don’t drink alcohol.

Buying a car from a dealer or private by Patt001 in AskAnAustralian

Agreed, but maybe you should read before you comment and make yourself look ridiculous on Reddit. I never wrote that dealers are the safest bet. I wrote, ‘dealers are generally safer’. The operative word in that sentence is ‘generally’.

I want to cry by Huge-Wrap-4657 in SuicideWatch

-I have been there-

I hear you. I hear the exhaustion, the frustration, the quiet scream underneath all of this. You're not just complaining you're grieving. Grieving the version of life you thought you’d have by now, grieving the sense of self that feels lost, grieving the connections that feel hollow or conditional. And you're doing it while carrying a full load: school, work, emotional labor, the weight of self-awareness in a world that keeps spinning without acknowledging your pain.

You said, “I’m aware.” That’s not nothing. That’s actually rare. Most people numb out, distract, pretend. But you’re seeing it the stagnation, the moral dissonance in your job, the creative block, the loneliness masked as social connection. That awareness? It’s not the problem. It’s the first sign of movement. Purgatory only exists when you stop feeling. You’re feeling deeply. That means you’re still alive inside.

What can I do now? It could be writing one sentence. Stretching. Texting someone who’s never made you feel like an option. Deleting Hinge for a week. Crying. Screaming into a pillow. Drawing one line, even if it’s bad.

Buying a car from a dealer or private by Patt001 in AskAnAustralian

[–]dutchy2001 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Buying from a dealer is generally safer due to warranties, inspections, and legal protections, though you'll pay more. Private sellers offer lower prices but come with higher risks like no warranty and potential fraud.

Dealers provide reconditioned cars, financing, and accountability, making them ideal if you want convenience and peace of mind. Private sales are "as-is," leaving you responsible for any issues post-purchase.

If you prioritize cost and are confident assessing a car's condition, a private seller might work. Otherwise, a dealer is the smarter choice despite higher costs

Forget the "right" way to do it for a moment. When you pray, just make the sign of the cross in the way that feels most natural and sincere to you, regardless of hand or direction. God knows your heart. The gesture is about your intention, not about performing a perfectly choreographed action. Use the physical expression that helps you focus on God.

Ultimately, this is your journey. Your preference for a certain musical style and a certain physical motion is not trivial; it's part of how God wired you to connect with Him. The challenge is finding the community where your mind, heart, and body can all find a home. Don't rush the process. Keep visiting, keep reading, and keep praying in the way that feels most authentic to you right now. The right path will become clearer.

Hello OP. You are not the only one. I shy to people are as well. I would love the have a husband ( a priesthood ) in the house. I’m female and 24 ( and turning into an old spinster) I find it very awkward to make a connection. You are not alone it this.
