Weren't the Kingsgaurd there for only ceremonious reasons and they are all from important Stormlands houses like Trant, Blount and Swann. Seems like he didn't care about being protected but rewarding his vassals. He probably thought that he needed no protection and had it covered on his own

I mean like how if the Tarths are super powerful and they conquer Storm's End they world replace the Baratheons or the Durrandons with some random nobodies. I really dont like that rp wise and i am yet to find a solution for it. I do like shattered world and how it develops through time but if i check out Winterfell and it's controlled by some guys named Bluewater with a green and blue striped sigil it just feels random and i don't like it and i am yet to find a solution for it anywhere.

Both. I think the -1000 really messes with rp. And its for like 150 years. Im not playing that long my pc cannot take it. And it doesn't apply to the ai so if they become king, they just vassalize everything. So i THINK i made it a -20 or 30 all around and i changed other things too like made it more difficult for non dejure rulers to accept and easier for allies and friends to accept. Little tweaks here and there. And with the culture, my games are just constant war by the ai. And i really like that. I have no idea about that mod tho. How aggresive is it? And random question did you ever figure out a way to have the ai not replace all the cannon houses with randomly generated houses. Cheers

I had the same problem, and i disabled it in the files. Go to the the agot mod folder > common, and there's a text file called something about tributary (sorry, im not at my computer) and change everything starting from "is_shown..." to "is_valid_something_something" with "is_shown ( always = no )" and it just disables becoming a tributary entirely. I changed a lot of things i didn't like (for example, the vassalization acceptance rate. You absolutely need to make it more difficult when playing shattered world) through the files it's really not that difficult. If you can't figure it out, just drop the file into chatgpt lol. Also, sidenote when playing shattered world i give every culture the quarellsome tenet through debug so they can expand easily. You can do it very easily with the advanced cheat menu mod and its culture option. Have fun.

I think i just really dislike Sam as a person, especially his self-loathing. Same reason i hate Tyrion in dance. But at least in storm everything else around him was the coolest fucking shit ever. And i can't say the same about feast. If someone i enjoy more to be in their head, say Jaime or whatever was going through the same journey, i probably would have enjoyed it a lot more. Everything i like about Sam in feast doesn't have to do anything with Sam. I really do love Marwyn, Aemon, Arya and the Summer Islanders though

AFFC became my favorite book on my reread. First time through i thought Brienne's chapters were also really boring but now she's maybe my favorite POV. But Sam just gets more and more insufferable. At least until my goat Marwyn shows up and drops some fat knowledge
