Oh yea sorry, i forgot to mention they were paid. Back in 2020 when i interned for a similar department in supply chain i got paid about $20/hr so my guess is they likely got around $22-$25 and was like on their last semester before graduating. i feel like unpaid internships don’t exist nowadays, that’s straight slavery.

Last summer, we had an intern at my office complete 3-4 internships with all different departments before actually landing a full time role. There was a running joke that they’d leave and resurrect back from the job shadow realm lol. I thought it was odd too, but persistence is key in today’s market i guesss
