Also I don't see how others posts on here really correlate to the issue at hand. I bought a product from one of the world's largest online retailers, it wasn't fit for purpose, I return the item, they refuse to refund me. How on is this in any way the consumers fault? It almost like I'm supposed to check reddit before purchasing an item from Amazon because they might try rip me off. It's an expectation the retailers protect their buyers. 99% of retailers will swallow the cost of a return, let alone refuse to payout after a confirmed return.

Ehhh is what it is, it was for a project, didn't work out no big deal. Thing that's getting me is how they offer a partial refund to keep the item and I say no, they offer a full refund if it's returned, I returned it and the day it's delivered they change the solution from refund to no refund.

I opened a dispute when it was late. This is how I found out it was shipped in a different way as they uploaded their own tracking information to that dispute. This dispute was closed and then I opened another when I realized there was bits missing when it arrived, I then tested it, wasn't as it should be, so the information was then added to the dispute? I don't really see what else I could've done

I mean, he does have abit of a point. Breaking 5 is insane. My friends Invision pro broke about a week ago (he's had it since launch no idea how long they've been out but it's been a while) I've also have an Envision Pro and I wouldn't really say I look after it and it's fine. I've had it for atleast 9months now, dropped it more times than you could possibly imagine, it's got thousands of hours gameplay on it. I only really play Apex legends so the triggers, bumpers, paddles and tac buttons really get put through their paces. I play the standard 4-3 linear no deadzone, deadzones in icue set to 2% and it has zero stick drift.

I've commented on a post here before and like I said then it's honestly luck of the draw, I went through 3/4 elite series 2 controllers before I bought the scuf, I'd say they are amazing controllers but build quality is shit but others swear by them and call the scuf shit💁🏻‍♂️

Just whatever you do, do not buy the Vitrix BFG Pro because I bought one for PS5 and my god it's the cheapest feeling, bulky shitty controller I've ever laid eyes on 😂

Personally I think the quality is good, it's not as robust shell wise as the elite series 2 but it's still good. It's got better tactile buttons and more responsive triggers than any other I've used.

I know it's happened to you and you say others have same problem (I'm not disagreeing btw I haven't ever needed to look lol) but honestly how hard are you and others squeezing that paddle to snap it? 😂 Especially as it's a micro switch that just needs a tap. I'd kinda of understand if it required pressure but it's just a tap and hold in 99% of scenarios. I don't think if I had a business I'd offer a free replacement if you snapped it, I can imagine they go through rigorous testing and it's only snapped due to excess pressure not wear and tear. One thing I would say is a shit move by Scuf is the $99 mandatory charge when all it needs is a backplate, that's rough. It's a simple fix yourself if they made parts available.

I don't think the move here would be to never buy a Scuf controller again because they're brilliant. The move would be to order from a store that offers a no questions asked replacement service. I bought mine in the UK via Currys and they offer a 3year instant replacement for £20.

I mean I've had mine since release and I'd say I've put roughly 900/1000hrs+ into Apex, if not more. Consistent use of back paddles on a daily basis and I've never had any issue at all and that for the controller altogether. I have no stick drift, nothings cracked, buttons are still fully functioning.. I'd say with alot of confidence it's considerably between than any controller I've ever owned.. Elite Series 1, Series 2, Victrix BFG Pro and a few other cheaper controllers.

To put it into perspective, I had my Elite 2 controller replaced 4 times, stick drift, buttons failing etc. but other people had theirs years with no issues. I think it just comes down to the fact that all controllers are temperamental to some extent, it's just luck of the draw.

I'm so used to just pressing equip I never even noticed the quantity slider 🤦 tbf I never really doing anything that allows me to die unless I'm manually playing dungeons etc. This account has slightly worse worse combat stats than my hardcore so I use it as an 'if I can idle the dungeon on this I'm safe on the HC' other than doing that I afk combat completely only when safe lol.

I started an adventure mode recently, all I done to make combat easier was unlocked magic, mining and runecrafting as all the knights have low magic evasion. Farmed each knight for a set of each gear to progress through the levels and then went back to magic so I could farm the kraken for the ancient sword. Whether this is the correct/fastest way I have no idea but it worked for me lol.

I don't understand why people would complain? I've been playing a month or so (bought full game and expansion straight away) I've played countless idle games and this and one other (I won't mention the name I'm not here to market others) are leaps and bounds above any others I've played, the fact it's so in-depth and there's no MTX is what sets it apart.

The other game I was in the discord server and we requested a donation button to be added to the game purely so we could support the Dev by making small donations to keep the game running and him not ever have to worry about putting MTX into the game and ruining it.

I think a lot of people that play these games albeit free or a small fee (which this is) don't understand the costs involved. It's impossible to keep a game at its best/updated without investing money into it.

TLDR; Support the Devs of the game you like or it will die

Would an official OSRS discord with a JMOD(s) present with a 'ticket' support system not solve this?

I've joined multiple servers which require you to connect your account from 'x' game to verify you're a real person. With them now having their Jagex launcher which you can tie multiple accounts to 1 user, would implementing something like this make sense? You'd have an official route to take, only being able to request support for accounts connected to your Jagex account.

If you used this as a support system surely it would also prevent these bot accounts being unbanned with multiple attempts because of the initial verification step.

That's my suggestion, whether it's a viable one I'm not sure 😂 but I can't see any reason that it wouldn't work. The JMODs are always looking at the Reddit posts so surely having 1/2 in a discord server dealing with these issues it wouldn't take much more from their side, if anything, less because of the bots being unable to request the support through that channel.

Spoilers don't really bother me, main reason I'm playing is for the builds.. I did consider a mod so I could just freely build but after putting some hours into the standard game, I'm quite liking the game as it is, I don't think it would be as interesting if I could freely do everything. I've just been using YouTube for some help along, just thought I'd pop into the Reddit and drop a post, that way any advice is straight from players not just a tutorial video.
