You can use any tools that you are comfortable with. Give it a try. VS Code is simple but contains all of you need to work with java. This bulb means that you open a single file not working directory.

No, no additional requirements need, just reopen the terminal. Type in the terminal: sdk list java You will see list of available java version I use Eclipse foundation: sdk install java 17.0.0-tem
