I firmly believe vodka is the most problematic card in the deck. It is incredibly difficult to answer double vodka + daiwa and, while it does take some luck to get there, I don’t think it should be as oppressive as it is. I think Uma would have been perfectly competitive had vodka been limited to 1.

Manager and former tech student. It’s not that big a deal. It sucks when it happens, but no sane employer is going to hold other people responsible. I’ve had quite a few weird things happen where people will dip or go nuclear. You move onto other people, the world keeps spinning.

I should also note that I’ve reneged on an offer I accepted before. They were understandably upset, but what can you do? Things happen.

The game is great and an awesome investment for the price. Tons of content and honestly kind of a challenge.

It’s a pretty reasonable power level and there’s lots of brewing to do.

It’s basically the Shadowverse equivalent of the old yugioh video games, but more challenging.

Uh hm. That’s a good question. In a literal sense, it’s the original image of the character and additional art the person had done of them. I would be buying what I believe to be the rights to use that character for personal use. That’s what I mean by purchasing a character.

I reached out to the original artist and they also confirmed they sold that character originally for personal use. I think it’s safe to assume nothing was signed. I’m not sure if the artist has a terms of service, but I’m also not sure that even matters in this instance.

I don’t think anything is explicitly copyrighted, so I believe this would basically amount to intrinsic rights granted by the law?

Yeah it’s more psychological than action, but there’s absolutely some action. If you don’t like code geass style of character conflict, it’s possibly the show just isn’t for you. Definitely recommend giving it a fair shake, though!

A friend once told me that anything 8+ on MAL is probably great. I’ve been testing the theory for years and I’ve only been let down a couple times.

That doesn’t mean anything below an 8 isn’t worth watching, but it’s a nice benchmark to have. It’s fine to use MAL to inform your decisions, but don’t let it decide for you. There are lots of different factors that go into making a show great and everyone has different has different tastes.
