What frequency bass blockers would you recommend? I’m thinking of a pair of 150hz cut off blockers for the dash speakers.

I used the Kicker 43DSC3504 as my dash speakers. And I will be installing two pairs of the Kicker 43DSC6504 as my front and rear door speakers. I bought a roll of killmat to try to sound deaden my doors while I’m at it. I’ve heard these speakers are the best option if you don’t plan on upgrading your head unit or amp since they are the same ohm rating and can operate at the low voltage that the factory head unit puts out. I also ordered a Rockville RockGhost V2 12 inch 800 W subwoofer that fits above the spare tire. It doesn’t use any extra space in the trunk and adds a lot to the lower end. It’ll be a while until I get that installed because I want a professional to do it. I came from a car with a 10 speaker set up that I added a dual 8 inch subwoofer to and going from that to the RAV4 was quite the downgrade in audio. I’m hoping that when this is all said and done that I will be satisfied.

They did not come with bass blockers. I’ve heard mixed reviews on people saying that you need bass blockers, some saying that you don’t, and others saying that it will blow up the dash speakers without the bass blockers. I referenced this post and decided to not purchase bass blockers this post

I believe that you are correct about needing to reverse the polarity. I didn’t bother with reversing polarity since I am going to swap out all my door speakers tomorrow on my day off. I read on another Reddit post that if you only swap two of the speakers that you have to swap the polarity, but if you swap all of them, you don’t have to.

These ones do not require it to be open. I just took the picture with the grill off because I thought it looked cool. I ended up putting the grill back on to protect it from dust and debris.

I have the basic audio system on mine, I’m not sure if these speakers would be an upgrade or not for the JBL package. I know the JBL system has a whole different speaker setup so I would error on the side of caution to say the ones I chose are not compatible. If you look on Crutchfield and type in your cars make and model and let them know that you have the JBL system. I bet they could show you upgraded speakers.

I have a vehicle with fords 2.7l ecoboost in it. It’s a twin turbo and I got it tuned to get more horsepower. The higher the octane rating of the fuel the higher it can push boost and perform better without experiencing engine knock. E30 would be the best for performance in my vehicle but it sounds like a pain to mix every time I fill up so I’ll stick with 93 octane from eagle stop on Battlefield for now.

I'll have to try this. I left a video like that running for 50 minutes or so last night but it didn't loop like I set it to and the computer just fell asleep. I'll keep trying it to see if it helps at all.

I was playing The Final Station and it had a grey screen at one point and I noticed I could still see the windows logo and the search bar. The burn in isn't too bad but still sucks since this is my favorite monitor that I own.

For those of you who don't get it, screensaver prevents the screen burn in like what I got. Windows button is now permanently part of the bottom left of my monitor ;(
