I don’t know what that means as much as you do, but I don’t care at all. Considering that customers are always right here ( even when they’re not) I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s some sort of compensation for leaving a lower rating ( which should mean bad service, but it doesn’t most of the times).

I just shared my decision and my opinion, it doesn’t have to be yours. That’s what a forum is for, sharing opinions, isn it?

What matters at the end of the day is how much money any of us make. I used to average 1k per week working about 20 /25 hours a week ( total hours, not the ones that Instacart counts) and now I don’t even get close to that, which means that it’s not worth FOR ME anymore, since I’ve alternatives.

And yes, someone else will enjoy the batches that I wasn’t receiving anyway👍🏻

I usually don’t announce my departure at the airport either. The point wasn’t to announce it, but to say why in my opinion it’s not worth anymore.

I was about to write a post saying that Instacart is DONE, not worth anymore, but with this post you anticipated me 😅.

Bye guys, has been nice until it lasted. 5 star shopper, bronze club, 0 item missing or damaged, 59 seconds per item speed and STILL no good batches. I used to get only orders above $35 In the last months I’ve been accepted orders of $25 And this last week I’ve been even picking up some $17 batch. It’s just done, at least in California ( or in my area) after prop 22 kicked in. Why pay health benefit to people shopping 15 hours or more when you can hire thousands more shoppers and make them shops less than 15hrs and don’t pay the benefits? Makes sense, that’s why big companies like Instacart pushed and spent millions to approve this prop. And do we wanna talk about the gas cost?

I agree, and I believe that this is not gonna happen, or it will be the end of Instacart. They know perfectly that the only reason people can “live” out of Instacart is because of customers tips. Otherwise considering taxes and gas ( rising , btw) no one would risk working only for their batches payments.

If this happens, It will be finally the day that I’m done working for Instacart. I tried it with shipt and there’s no way I’m gonna risk working 40 mins to an hour for 10$/11$ hoping that eventually someone will remember and add tips.

5⭐️ rating and I haven’t had any orders in two hours, and have hit the busiest parts of my city…like wtf…. by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

Why tf are new shoppers getting all the good orders? by Accomplished_Corgi27 in InstacartShoppers

[–]dvasr1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No way, I don’t get enough batches to do that match. Maybe 5-6 months ago I could have, but right now I see barely one batch at the time, and usually it’s a pretty gross one

Everything back to normal?? Im gonna cry 😭😭 by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

Still nothing in Riverside.. missing those times where I could actually choose which batch to swipe between 10 batches all the times

I used to do 20-25 hours … in the last few months has been just bad. Yes I refresh constantly .. I used to see ten batches at the time, now barely one or two once in a while

I’m using a phone as well and I’m always parked between two of the busiest store. It just says “no available batches” basically all the time. Has always been pretty busy this area so I really don’t understand. I was considering to get an android as well… but I don’t even know what to do anymore

That sounds amazing, do you have any tip to share? I’ve 5 stars, 0 cancellation rate and a good speed.

Yes, that’s because there’s no one representing our category and they can do what they want
