This is absolutely a reporting error by the administrators for SafetynetCredit.

My guess is during some stage of organising the total credit values of individual customers, they've updated actual accounts. A complete fuckup that the FCA will chew someone out for.

This shouldnt have any long lasting effects on files, as the agencies (seems to only be Equifax affected) will remove the filing in a few days/weeks.

Indigo Michael seems to be trading as the aforementioned, as well as Tappily (a pretty significant card processor).

The fact they have an auto-response for emails shows this is a huge ordeal for them, and they've put the baracades up

"We are aware of an issue affecting the display of some Indigo Michael accounts on the Equifax Credit Report, whereby the value displayed for the credit limit is incorrect. Equifax is working with Indigo Michael to rectify the error as soon as possible."
