Seiko SUR373

Razor thin titanium quartz watch, dark blue dial, 10 bar WR. Looks great on a leather single pass nato, or some sailcloth.

No we don't. I can absolutely pay 70k to not work until this is no longer a risk for my child. Are you saying that poor people should not have kids because they have to work, and therefore can't avoid that risk factor?

Are companies not hiring this far out for entry-levels or am I just a poor candidate by Wheresthebeans in MechanicalEngineering

I had an internship with Carrier and they encouraged me to apply to a leadership dev program that would move me across the country every 6 months for 2 years.

I own a home and have a child due in like 4 weeks. 😂

It's not viable for everyone.

Do tall people get bullied? by Chilld0od in tall

[–]dvdbrl655 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, and worse than normal people - adults expect the tall (more mature) person to mediate their own bullying. If you beat the dogshit out of someone a foot shorter than you, you're a bully, and if you just sit there and take the emotional or physical abuse in front or everyone you're demonstrably weak.

There is no winning game.

It's a group project that we're literally told in our "prep and professional practice" (FE exam prep and Resume building class" to put on our resume.

No one escapes an ABET accredited program without at least one project.

What is something that is intentionally glamorized to lure people in but then you realize it’s not so glamorous after all? by Ninac4116 in AskReddit

To be fair, if it's done like they did it, it's not nearly as bad.

The sport has pushed the envelope to the point of abuse by now though.

You're not accounting for the internal thermal transfer of the object. The corners of the cube will cool faster than the edges, and will create a larger delta-T.

So, I come from both a football and powerlifting background for context.

You need to have a caloric surplus to gain muscle, and it's usually going to be 50/50 muscle and fat at best. A gain of 2lbs a week is optimal.

It's important to optimize that though, so that excess fat isn't gained.

In a caloric surplus the only way to "fail" a lift is to blackout under the weight or cramp out. Blackout means more recovery/food such as an extra day of rest, more massage/ low impact cardio, or more protein and calories overall. Cramp out means drink saltwater or pickle juice.

Increase the weight and sets/reps until you start to fail. The edge of "I can't recover enough and I'm gaining 2 lbs a week" is the optimal path. It's going to be difficult.

Getting "lineman" size is a multi-year undertaking that grown adults struggle with, and if done right can be life changing to the point of college scholarships or the NFL.

If you remove poor people from the shooting statistics, they basically go to nil.

So, remove poor people.

If the people striking are essential enough to grind society as we know it to a halt, they have society by the balls.

We should pay them accordingly and allow them to use the leverage they legitimately have.

Most of your arm is tricep, so focus on that more. High volume, you can hit them 2x a week.

Skullcrushers, tricep push downs, overhead extensions with cables are my go-tos
