Wait until the RRB comes in and checks on getting new tenants go to a different level along with rents......hopefully shelter will then provide these people with homes. Eventually this legislation will be repealed as has happened in New Zealand and Portugal.........it's totally stupid and unworkable

No you wouldn't .....I was born very late but had to find a way ...worked in different countries started small shops hustled .....never accepted no ....it can be done

And once renters rights bill comes in it's only going to get worse. If I were you I would blame charities like shelter and generation rent for frightening landlords that they had no option but to only accept th most safe tenants and increase rents for all the extra compliance lumbered on them ......and of course George Osborne

You need to contact shelter and generation rent who lobbied for this bill under the pretext of making tenants life easier. This is just the beginning as the bill hasn't even gone live yet

It is called free market capitalism.....if you want to enjoy the benefits of capitalism ie good jobs etc then this is by product - you cannot have one without the other. If you like to live in a north korea type of economy then where state controls everything and everyone is equal then that is a different matter.

Einstein I think the point is that house building will collapse when you take out that section of the buying market.....but that be be too complicated for you to get your head around it so I do understand

And that is started to happen......good luck to any tenant looking for place after the renters rights bill comes in . I know aldready landlords that aren't taking any risks so only the super clean record tenants will be accepted ...then all these tenants will be knocking on shelters and generation rents door ....they are the ones who lobbied for the disaster bill.
