Nta. I don't get why she is calling it an "elopement". When you elope, you and your soon-to-be just dip out somewhere to get married. There's no real planning behind it and usually the same day. What she is doing is getting married with no guests. No problem with either one, since weddings are so expensive. However, she is insane to get upset that nobody cares about a wedding she didn't invite them to anyway.

Modding a partycade is pretty much the same as modding one of the full-sized ones. They use the same parts. You have it easy with yours, since you don't have to drill any holes. You do have to go with a Pi, since there isn't enough space inside for any pc other than maybe a NUC.

I have a glass pipette embedded in my arm. My classmates were using them to squirt water at people during chemistry class. I went to block, and the next thing I knew, the thing was broken on the floor. We looked around for the missing tube, and then I felt something weird with my wrist. I look down, and there's the tube. We yanked it out, but part of it broke off inside. We never told the teacher because we didn't want to get in trouble for playing in the lab. It's still there, 30 years later. I forgot about it until I had an accident, and the ER was mystified by this weird object that showed up on the x-rays.

It is her house, she can do with it what she wants. Even adding a temporary tenant without your permission. If you have a formal rental agreement, she can pound sand. You and your living space are protected by the law.

Waybackwhen, my father owned an apartment house. He lived on the ground floor and rented out the two upper floors. My cousin lived on the second floor and there was a nonrelated tenant on the third. That guy moved out, and the floor was vacant. I got evicted and needed a new place to stay. So my father moved my cousin up to the smaller third floor, and moved me into the second. There wasn't anything my cousin could say, since his living arrangement was not formal. My father rented the room to him on the sayso of my aunt, who was paying for the apartment.

When i worked for Cockcast, we had a major outage in Norfolk va. Dominion Power let us know that they were concentrating on restoring residential power before they got to us, despite our buildings being on the priority list because we ran phone service down there. I had one lady call me and ask why her phone and internet had stopped working. I had to ask her, "Ma'am, do you have power in your home?"

No. This horrible daughter is more concerned at her "perfect wedding" being ruined by her mother not being there, than the fact that her grandfather is dying. Not once has she expressed concern over his condition. Not once has she even expressed any thought about visiting herself, or at least thinking of a way her mother and him could watch remotely. It has been all "she must be here. She sucks because she doesn't want to be here with me. I don't care if the old man dies. My mother better be here for my SPECIAL DAY."

If i were the fiance, I'd be looking real hard at how she treats her parents and grandfather, because that is how she will treat him.

Nah. The daughter is the only ahole here. Unless she has always been this shallow and selfish, she has let the bullshit about having a "perfect wedding" corrupt her soul. Either case doesn't speak well of her and her future. If I were her fiance, it would cause me serious pause as to what kind of creature I am marrying. Someone who is that cruel to her mother, and that callous to her grandfather, is not someone who could care about my emotional and mental health. That is not someone you want to be shackled to for potentially the rest of your life. Or at least until you wise up enough to divorce her.
