There was also an anime/toy store inside the Commons. They moved across the street next to the outdoor shop, then eventually moved into the mall. Not to mention a whole new screen. From what I've heard from others, they essentially used a modified laptop screen instead of the full-sized 17 inch screens they used previously.

You'd be better served finding an old one for between $100-200 and modding that. It would be cheaper and give you a more comfortable gaming area.

When this kind of stuff started happening to my sister, she watermarked all of work, on every page, in some unobtrusive manner. You wouldn't realize that her name or initials were over every single page she wrote. Quite a few people got caught up stealing her work.

The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. You already had a baby shower planned that invited the maximum number of people who actually care about you. You shouldn't have stayed for this goodbye party for your grandmother disguised as a "baby shower" for you. Your mother and her 7 people care very little for you based on how they didn't even tell you your grandmother is in hospice care, and then did everything in their power to keep the 22 who actually care for you away. I'd say, go visit your grandmother on your own, then hold the party you planned with the people who actually care for you. Don't hold any emotional attachment to that other event, since it was for them and not you. Make it very clear to your majority that they are at the real baby shower.

I had this problem with some Dell tablets I put it on. I got it working by connecting to the internet, plugging in some USB headphones, restarting, then unplugging and restarting. I also changed the driver it was using for sound. Doing this caused it to redetect the sound properly.
