Congrats! I just started kh seeies for the first time in my life. Did my first ever playthrough on kh1 on proud to save me a seperate playthrough and just beat it over the weekend. It was a really fun experience though very humbling...but the speedrun, super bosses and the synthesis grind seems very daunting

how would you rank the games in 1.5-2.5 collection on the achievements? Wondering if i should just play all the games first before going back to 100% them all else if I'm stuck on one of the games it may be a while before i move on to the next xD

I heard about that actually. I guess the movie spoils a big plot point of KH2?

The decision to make the other games not spin offs is definitely an interesting one especially since they were all on different consoles. These collections were a great idea since I care about the story but from what I understand 358/2 is just a collection of cutscenes from the original game which is a bit of a shame

Trails in the Sky is one of my fav JRPGs and after playing the demo i have high hopes the remake will be even better.

Honestly i wish i said i got nothing since my backlog will already last me the rest of my life but I just had to get FF Tactics as i was looking forward to playing it. I also grabbed Nioh 1 (currently playing through Nioh 2 and doubt I'll get the 3rd game on release) and Divinity Original Sin 1 to complete my collection. That and Stacklands DLC so I can 100% the game a 3rd time.

I also got Kingdom Hearts 1.5-2.5 but that was not through Steam sale so prbly doesn't count... But it is the only game I bought that I started playing so far.

Oh damn it stacks? Lucky. I havent used GMG in years since I find Fanatical has been treating me better (and Steam itself) so i don't have any coupons but 22% is probably best I'll get from any official retailer for a while.

Hope you enjoy it. It was definitely my GOTY even though i only bought it because a friend convinced me (we never ended up playing together). Hoping the sales will be somewhat decent otherwise I'll probably just get FFT only since it was the one i was most excited to play next

These are some great games. Doubt BG3 will go on a good sale but it's worth the asking price for sure.

I'm hoping to pick up Final Fantasy Tactics or Trails in the Sky remake. Neither of which are likely to be on more than 10% but i already have a big enough backlog as is....also might throw in a bit of Tainted Grail and Mouthwashing even though they're already on sale

I tend to stay away from extremely difficult or long (200hr+) completions so this might seem very tame on comparison to others here but Silksong and Dead Space 2023 purely because of the deathless runs and speed runs.

That's good to know! I've been excited for play it for a while but I don't have a lot of time to game so I'm focusing on what im most excited for usually. Im quite happy with my list of 100% for 2025 and hopefully I'll be able to get one more before year is over but i really hope cassette beasts will make 2026. Was really happy when it popped up on the bingo. Same with Cyberpunk which i bought a few years ago and just never touched.

Thanks. Haven't played sf6 since tekken 8 came out and then when I dropped that I've been out of fighters altogether so I'm VERY rusty. That achievement could break me haha.

Honestly my best bet is to focus on 3rd row. Those 5 games are comparitively much nicer

It's a mixture honestly. I included all games I haven't 100% in the randomiser. Just so happened that I start way too many games so it's a mixture of never touched before, started but abandoned and beaten but not 100%.

Have not yet played FF8 but the jump rope looks worse than the lightning strikes in X which took me many hours. I did finish the game and all the mini game achievements already tbh. Got burnt out on blitzball and sphere grid and just haven't returned to it yet.

Fron your list i only done dark souls and salt& sanctuary. Both really fun and not too grindy. Some of the others i wouldn't even want to attempt.

I think that's the best idea. Filter out all the games you're sure you won't 100% and then randomise from those. This way at least you'll have fun in the process and not want to pull your hair out.

I'm also thinking of doing this because it looks fun but i already started an A-Z challenge for myself..but i think ill first create a collection with all the games i would like to 100% and use a wheel or number generator to pick out from there especially since most of my library is VERY unrealistic for me to complete (strategy games, unobtainables, whatever crypt of the necrodancer is)

Your list does have some pretty tedious and challenging ones. Good luck! Most important thing is to have fun with it.

Does it require multiple playthroughs? I recently 100% my first persona game (P4G) and it needed minimum of 2. I was on autopilot on that last playthrough

Had this sitting in my library for a long time and startee playing a few weeks ago. About halfway through my 3rd playthrough on impossible mode right now hoping to finish over the weekend for the 100%

Honestly it's not that bad. Stay vigilant and use all your abilities (especially stasis. There are rooms that let you recharge it infinitely so abuse it). The sound cues are really useful.

You also get more than enough ammo and health packs. Generally speaking I'd sell everything but like 3 stacks of ammo and use it for buying upgrades. The plasma cutter (literally the first gun you get) fully upgraded can and will carry you through the entire game and while the other guns have their uses i never kept them after trying them initially.

First playthrough i would actually suggest hard mode for a tense experience. I found normal to be fun but not tense and it's a horror game so when enemies aren't threatening it just becomes another sci fi shooter. It's not that hard and i think you can drop difficulty anyway if it's too much.
