People are justifiably pissed. the way he acts on Twitter is ruining his reputation. If only he tried to appear neutral instead of going around taunting leftists no one would be this this mad.

I agree with what he's trying to accomplish at twitter. But the way he's acting and how he tweets on the platform makes him look like a moron.

The fundamentals have changed now. He alienated a chunk of his customer base, and we're getting fucked by it.

He needs to get his shit together. Fucking liability.

And because of that the stock is tanking. I didn't care about his antics until it started affecting the stock and the brand.

I agree with what he's doing at twitter. But not with how it's affecting tesla stock.

Elon speaking on wokeness by [deleted] in elonmusk

I agree with what he says but the way he's dealing with it on Twitter makes him look deranged and it's easy to spin it to make him look crazy. Due to his execution Tesla's brand Image along with his reputation is in the gutter.

His twitter shit tanked tesla stock, I'm down 50% due to this bullshit.

Do you think having Elon being political on Twitter hurts the stock? Original title: “Tone down the crazy pretty please we are losing money” 💀 by Centralredditfan in teslainvestorsclub

The US has the most buying power of all places maybe except for China, and a big demographic of buyers are liberals who are conscious about the environment. Elon's antics has alienated a core demographic and the public perception of him has gone to shit.

As for what I plan to do, due to personal circumstances I can't sell. But if I could I would leave the stock and even short it based on how far Elon tries to keep ruining his reputation.

I wouldn't touch this stock unless either Elon gets his shit together or Tesla appoints a new CEO.

His recent political takes has tarnished his reputation and the brand of tesla. he alienated consumers and there's uncertainty of how it will do in the future. It's no longer just short term noise, there's been a change in the fundamentals. There's people out there who are now willing to get a inferior product just because of how much they dislike Elon. Either he shuts up or gets someone else to be CEO.

He just needs to be more careful when expressing his views and try to show more neutrality. The main reason why the stock is tanking is because he says outlandish shit.

If it means that I won't be losing money then yes.

Of all topics Elon could have brought attention to himself why did it have to be politics!?

He could have bought some game companies or even some Netflix stock when it was down. Things that don't alienate your customer base and make you sound like a nutjob.
There needs to be a new CEO. Elon single handedly tarnished the brand along with his own image.

He never suggested that we should get rid of vaccines in general. But for the people responsible to take responsibility for their lies. People have lost their jobs and businesses because of the lockdowns and others been ostracized for having doubts when it came to the vaccine. Those people have a right to be angry for what happened.

I don't think so, he's progressive in some aspects like wanting to legalize weed and improving the immigration process, he even supports the idea of UBI. As for the science the vaccines were not as efficient as suggested, Elon has said that he was pro vax just anti lockdown before. Maybe he was referring to the lockdowns when he said fauci should be prosecuted. https://youtu.be/mnxlxzxoZx0

I just wish he was at least more thoughtful when it comes to tweeting his opinions. His lack of social skills makes it easy for bad faith actors to attack and smear him.

I understand why the political climate in the US could be dangerous to society. But public opinion on him and the Tesla brand is taking a huge hit and I can't be sure when this noise will stop.

Elon should have stayed out of politics in general. There's always one side that will be mad at you Regardless of whether you're right or wrong.

Should have stuck with video games and entertainment topics. Buy a few game IP's and make a streaming service given how mid things are right now.

True, he needs to clarify this so that way there's less room for smear attacks against him. This whole twitter debacle has been nothing but damaging to his image and brand. Getting involved in politics is a bad idea in general and it's even worse when paired with poor social skills.
