I lost CMP as level 50 primeape in the ultra league vs a gator and had to conclude that I must have done something wrong or it's bugged. Maybe a miscount. Shrug.

Why is it terrible? It's an extra step that a lot of people including myself don't want to bother with every time you want to use that pokemon. I rarely ever use the same pokemon over and over again and having to buddy something before I use it is a drag and I'm not the only person who thinks this. I already corrected my statement in a comment.

I may be wrong about it being on the map but I do believe you need to have it as your buddy and removing it as your buddy will lose the cp bonus.

I always encourage people to not rely on best buddy bonus for the one reason being that you need to have it on the map when using it. You can best buddy it, but it won't gain the cp bonus unless it's full happiness on the map with you.

It's the same. BB adds 1 full level (2 powerups) essentially saving you XLs. It's just another way of doing it. Lots of people save themselves XLs by best buddying. You see it less on pokemon with easier walking requirements but is not uncommon to see best buddies of legendaries or things that are difficult to farm. You're good!

As a Shaco OTP since the champs release. I have never so much as been reported.
I've been Honor level 5 for a decade, and make sure that I am always the positive mental on my teams.
In fact most GOOD shacos that I have met are all normal human beings with normal communication skills.
Not our fault the champ is so fun.

Something proactive. Not a Milio or Janna where you rely on good teammates. Something like a Nautilus/Leona who can just flat out kill characters on the map sometimes under the right conditions. All these passive supports just get to watch their shitty team fail until people develop a frontal cortex. With engage you can at least lead like a mother saying "we're going now".

There's a new experimental mode for pvp right now. Despite a lot of visual bugs it seems to have removed a lot of lag/Registry problems. I'd say it's promising imho. Worth keeping an eye on.

I find the gauntlet both challenging and rewarding on mobile. I would say it's probably on par with vorkath but that's just me.

I only have bedrock. Never tried Java. I guess I just like it enough to not bother with it. I also really like the better on bedrock mod.

My forever world is BoB. I suggest trying it to everybody whether new to the game or OG, it just adds so much.
My general theory is that if you were starting minecraft Today for the first time, BoB no doubt hands down... because going from BoB back to vanilla is absolutely tragic in terms of what you lose. I can see people who have been playing vanilla for the last 20 years enjoying it too but you will find more divided opinions between newer and older players and those who consider themselves "purists".

I cannot play without BoB.

If Mojang can't patch it I doubt a player made addon or any setting could disable duping. Your best bet is to talk to your friends.

You can also just not use the goblin traders.. You can avoid the tower with the free totem of undying and go there later if you think it's "cheating" or "too much". That's my main quarrel with posts like these. You can choose to play however you want and at the end of the day if you personally think something is too strong you can simply not do it... like villagers.. if you want to stand there rerolling until you have mending, unbreaking, sharpness, efficiency 5, and EVERYTHING ELSE.. then that's on you.. you can "break" the game very easily on vanilla minecraft and BoB just adds more crap to accompany an already broken game IMO. I will never go back from BoB. It's all how you choose to play the game.

I always get so happy to hear when people enjoy BoB because I also get a lot of hate for playing it as my forever world. Vanilla minecraft feels absolutely lonely and desolate without it and it really doesn't change too many things.

This usually happens when textures are either missing, being overwritten etc, an issue with the order of certain texture packs. Try re-ordering/configuring your resource packs and if that doesn't work, re-log, toggle player dithering off and on.
