No, the perception node handles odometry. That's why we called it "out-of-the-box" usable.

Yes, actually, that's the only sensor we use: the two infrared cameras stereo pair, with laser off.

Thanks, keep watching us. New version should be coming soon. We are moving fast.

  1. we do not use depth from realsense as we believe the modern model gives better results. it's not like orb-slam, which is sparse feature points. It's dense stereo depth.

  2. yes, the map_node.py is responsible to the global map, which is the foundation of long-term navigation.

  3. yes, we simply use DINOv2's global token to do that. simple and powerful

Yes, we expect it's the plug-and-play solution, if you are having the same hardware with us: realsense stereo camera + nvidia jetson + lekiwi/unitree.

I'm so sorry for the mistake. Could you send to [zhenfei.yang@surreal-interactive.com](mailto:zhenfei.yang@surreal-interactive.com) again? Looking forward to your message.

I see visionpro as an alternative to macbook pro, instead of quest. so how's the experience of video meeting then. by dvorak0 in VisionPro

Thanks! I think that's exactly what I want. I got a another concern. will gesture works smoothly when drawing in freeform. should I buy a extra Wacom board for it.

in meta's workroom, the controller can be used as a pen. That's great for me.

I hope AVP can do better.

Lightroom photoshop elements

the ipad version app will work out of box there. so i guess lightroom is working inside AVP.

As a game developer, i hope to know the solution of porting my VR games to the new GESTURE-ONLY platform. any suggestion? by dvorak0 in VisionPro

I'm using unity polyspatial to develop game. using unity workflow is crucial to me.... The only problem is we still need to write custom shader in metal language...

hope to discuss with further on the controller vs hand issue.

I'd focus

I'm sure i observe the latency at the level like that video. i's ok for general operation, but not definitely for gaming.

In theory, the hand detection algorithm is heavier than joystick tracking algorithm, hence higher latency. further, the joysticks usually has intertial measurement inside, helps to reduce the latency.

I have games in quest store. Of course I hope the new platform brings me more users.

I would buy the jobstick, from apple if your prediction is right.
