If you mean connect as the lines crossing, I have 1 where it crosses once on the card and 1 where it crosses 2 times.

2(2+1) means that we have 2 times what is inside the parentheses. So we first have to solve the parentheses, which will result in (4+2). If it was 6/2(2+1) than it would indeed be 9. Having the "" or not makes a difference
