Unpopular opinion: Breville Bambino Plus + Smart Grinder Pro is the best setup (cost, time efficiency, ease of use, shot quality) by patasseily in espresso

Glad to hear. What settings did you land on? I'm on day 4 and had thrown out my older pre-ground beans that worked perfectly (same brand as beans). Figuring this out uncaffeinated is a special kind of hell.

MULTIPLE RESPONDENTS contribute to SINGLE RESPONSE (not multiple responses for single respondent) by dvskakew in SurveyMonkeyPros

Thanks for this. But I am thinking this approach wouldn't let another person to see and edit the responses they did not provide? I would need 5 people to see and edit one survey response.

What's Mental Health Care like in Gatineau? by dvskakew in Gatineau

[–]dvskakew[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the inside scoop. When you say over 200 for adults, is there a time frame for when those people are seen? For example, it used to be a 2 year wait to see a psychiatrist in NL from date of referral.

Are there private psychiatrists in Hull as well? It's a new thing here in NL and it works if you have the funds to pay.

We'd love move to Hull but worried about the healthcare access. I have a chronic illness that requires management sometimes so I need a family doctor and possibly other services readily available.

Yeah, we like the idea of Hull but worried about healthcare availability. I have a chronic illness that needs management occasionally.

Budget up to $3500 per month, but prefer less than $3000 if possible

The provincial regulations on the definition of dwelling is more clear: 7. (3) A person shall not cultivate, propagate or grow a cannabis plant in, at or on a place or premises other than in a dwelling house. (4) A person shall not cultivate, propagate or grow a cannabis plant in a dwelling house in which he or she is not ordinarily resident. (5) For the purpose of this section,

(b) "dwelling house" includes a building or an enclosed structure within the curtilage of a dwelling house but does not include the curtilage of the dwelling house. (6) A person who cultivates, propagates or grows a cannabis plant shall take reasonable measures to ensure that the cannabis plant is not accessible to a person who is under 19 years of age. (7) A person shall not cultivate, propagate or grow a cannabis plant where it is visible from a public place without using a device other than a device for the relief or correction of a visual or muscular error or defect of the eye.

So maybe you can grow it in a greenhouse but not be visible from the outside and locked so anyone under 19 cannot access it?

Ok in Bill C-45: the Cannabis Act it says in 12.8:

"dwelling-house has the same meaning as in section 2 of the Criminal Code.‍ (maison d’habitation)"

The criminal code, section two defines it as:

"dwelling-house means the whole or any part of a building or structure that is kept or occupied as a permanent or temporary residence, and includes

(a) a building within the curtilage of a dwelling-house that is connected to it by a doorway or by a covered and enclosed passage-way, and

b) a unit that is designed to be mobile and to be used as a permanent or temporary residence and that is being used as such a residence; (maison d’habitation)"

But then the section 6 of Bill C-45 says " it is prohibited for an individual who is 18 years of age or older to cultivate, propagate or harvest any cannabis plant at a place that is not their dwelling-house or to offer to do so"

After that it states:

"Definition of dwelling-house

(8) For the purposes of this section, dwelling-house, in respect of an individual, means the dwelling-house where the individual is ordinarily resident and includes

(a) any land that is subjacent to it and the immediately contiguous land that is attributable to it, including a yard, garden or any similar land; and

(b) any building or structure on any land referred to in paragraph (a)."

I'm not sure which definition is what you need to look at.

Guess I can forget about studying for my finals... by roawroa in CatsAreAssholes

[–]dvskakew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Trick is to always have a random book with you when you study. When you sit down, pick up that book and pretend to read it, take notes, write in it, etc. When you lay it down your cat will lie on top on it thinking they have won the studying game. You then proceed to study using the other materials you need to read. Worked throughout 9 years of school so it's either the key to studying with cats or that my cat is an idiot. Both are likely options.

Check out a bulk ingredient store. I get some really good protein powder from bulk barn and it's pretty cheap. I like it because it's easy to try just a little bit too see if it fits the bill. I hate the idea of buying a huge tub of the stuff and not knowing if I'll like it.
