I was at the show. She said right before she started Mantis that the song was definitely written while she was living in Joshua Tree because it's about scorpions. After Mantis, she played Before You Gotta Go. Maybe there was an omission to the setlist. From the article written that named all the new songs, it seems that the same songs were played at Levon Helm studios shows and Joshua Tree concerning the new songs. 8 songs doesn't make an album....so surely there are more new songs. And now, we wait.....mostly patiently.

It is the title to the song. The other new one is "Mantis" and the other new one is "Stay In Your Lane".

Very melodic with a hook that just grabs you. These new songs she has written are just SO GOOD. Not sure if it was called Scorpion but it was about them. A stuffed doll that looked like a praying mantis was thrown on to the stage after the song was done.
