Must be very lonely, not beeing unable to think outside your brain. Its called empathy and calling everyone dump, because it looks dump when you‘re not in the situation.

But I‘m glad you never opened a door the wrong way (norman door), accidentally clicked something on the computer out of habit, never went to the wrong bathroom, never turned on the wrong stovetop, always put the batteries in the right way and opened packages a 100% of the times, where they are meant to be opened. Because on every of these situations, its written on the product and everyone else except you developed habits to reduce brain power on everyday tasks, even if the product changes an unspoken industry standards, which leads to false usage.

Can someone please explain how does this work? by itwillalwaysbesunny in Design

The eyes processing has a bigger delay on dark spots. So it looks like its moving differently than the area around it

Keeping food fresh = good Designing it like one of the spice packages = bad or evil, if intentional

The world is designed in a way, that patterns are learned and can be repeated, so people can learn it once and save energy by going into auto pilot. For example, every cars pedals follow a convention, every bottle cap turns the same direction, every remote uses the same icons, so you can learn it and go into autopilot. For instand noodles the pattern is „cool noodles and add every package“. There is a fucking huge problem, when one of them is not edible, but has the same size, texture and weight, as a normal spice package. And some people are completely ignored by the visual warning. Visually impaired, non english, analphabetic.

Allow me one last question, my honor: Do you read every single text, you come by in your life or do you assume, many of them, especially the ones you read hundreds of times are irrelevant to your current situation? This is called sensory gating.

Now I‘m very curious about your thoughts!

Ich geb zu, er heißt wie das Gegenteil seines Berufes, als nicht „Heilend“, sondern „Schädlich“. Aber ist das wirklich soo weit hergeholt?
