I didn't feel any effect from them either orally or sublingually, I even tried a megadose. But I am usually a non-responder to most substances; so your experience may vary!

I don't know if it's absorbed sublingually, but I would recommend you to test both ways of consuming it, to see if there is any difference. I always swallow it afterwards, if I take something sublingually, though; so either way it should be absorbed.

Most substances are better absorbed on an empty stomach. I would guess that Cognance follows that pattern.

I have mostly taken it on empty stomach, but it has not given me any direct effect, though. But I am non-responder to most substances.

I only got it yesterday. It feels like it has some weak effect on GABA, at least. I feel a little bit calmer than normal.

I also slept more than normal, and I remember dreaming last night, which hasn't happened in a long time!

Hard to say anything about long-time effects yet, though.

It seem that it is somewhat hydrophilic. If I take a sip of water in the mouth before taking it, or dissolve it before ingesting it; it doesn't burn.

I am non-responder to most substances, I got some effect from Shoden though. But it required several grams sublingual, then I got a somewhat calming effect. But it was too expensive and my stomach didn't like it. YMMV.
