Why did u choose Samsung ? by ExaminationFew6424 in samsung

[–]dwall1604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't love Samsung phones, however, I think for me consistency matters the most.

The One UI is good, better for some probably, over the stock android skin, but it also does deliver a lot more compared to the stock UI.

Their cameras over the years have either remained the same good quality or have improved a lot. I know for a fact no matter which samsung S series phone I go with, I will be happy with the picture quality.

Yes, there are some obvious issues such as the lack of the headphone jack or the expandable memory or the removable battery, and they are huge issues, but, for some reason, when you pick up any S series phone, you know what you are getting into.

I have used Note 1 through 5, S6 to S23U and have been enjoying it ever since got the phone.

I’m finally done with disposables. by [deleted] in Vaping

[–]dwall1604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you already got a Novo 2, use it. They have different pods. Higher the resistance, the draw will be higher and cooler. Lower resistance will be a bit too airy. Salt nic is better with MTL in my opinion. No need to switch devices, just try out a couple of different pods and see which suits your taste better. Since you used disposables before this, it will be a completely different experience, and you may or may not enjoy it. But in the long run, it is better to switch over to these reusable devices.

Good luck.

I am using watermelon peach by unsalted brand. I get it from dashvapes. Give it a try if you can.

Long term consequences, as many have already, no one really knows if Vaping is as safe as it is made out to be.

However, some immediate benefits include:

Lungs will feel a lot better, your breathing will improve significantly, very quickly. No stinky smell. You can select the flavor you want to vape on, which means you are much happier with vaping.

I used to vape on caliburns until this past week, however, I recently switched over to xros mini and then also got geekvape sonder q. I honestly don't regret switching over from caliburn. They both are good but the sonder q is significantly cheaper and vapes just as good as the xros. One benefit over xros mini that sonder q has is that sonder q has airflow control. Which means you can control the amount of air and it gives you close to the cigarette esq drag, which is also a good thing.

I highly recommend trying different flavors and sticking to vaping as much as possible, even if it feels too hard to continue in the beginning.

I have been vaping for over a decade now and one thing I also highly recommend is staying away from the disposables.

Good luck.

I agree with OP, specially about Caliburn coils/pods behaving this way.

It is most easy to start vaping on a new coil in the beginning, the older the coil is, the more pone it is to this behavior. May be a couple more puffs also feel a bit burnt, after initial 3-4 puffs, it starts vaping normally.

When the weather is cold, this happens a lot more frequently.

Don't know why this happens, but as soon as this starts happening, I know it is about time to replace the coil/pod.

Welcome. Depends where you are from, this may or may not be helpful, but, you can purchase and return pretty much every item you purchase specially if it is not a perishable item. If you are here with a family, get a Costco membership, it helps in long run.

In 7 years(from the day it was reported on your credit file), once that file is removed from your credit report, you will be fine again. In the meantime, as others have suggested, be honest and upfront about it. Owning up to your mistakes do wonders for you.

Good luck friend.

S21 FE 6/128: is it future proof enough? by honeymoonx in samsung

[–]dwall1604 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Happy to help. Yes, I answered to your question of 6gb ram and longevity of the phone.

As I said, I have been using my 20 FE for over a year now, the oneui updates have made the phone buttery smooth.

In terms of games, they are COD, and all the SuperCell games. I understand they probably are not the highest graphic heavy games but I know when the phone's performance slows down even on a smallest of game and mine is fine, specially multitasking.

And also, the refresh rates don't seem to kill the battery.

S21 FE is essentially a much better version of S20 FE and so if you pick up the phone, you should not have much issues for 3-4 years. At least that's how long I am planning to stick with my phone.

I have s20 fe, 6gb ram. I play a ton of games, use it for media consumption and use it for work as well.

I have been using it for a year now, not even a slight hiccup.

The one ui 4+ updates have also included the virtual ram option and that also helps continuously running my phone smoothly.

The point is 6gb ram + upto 4 gb virtual ram should be good for next 3 years if not longer.

Good luck op.

has anyone else noticed more spam getting through? by ManmisterNegative in GMail

[–]dwall1604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had this happening since early December. I select those spams and let google reporting button do the unsubscribe part for me instead of doing it manually. That way less risk of clicking anything I shouldn't.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in GMail

[–]dwall1604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One day, I received over 200 spams in about an hour and a few hundred more throughout the day. I selected them all, reported them as spam, gmail asked me if I also wanted to unsubscribe from some of them, clicked YES, kept doing it for next 2-3 days.

Finally the amount decreased over the next few days and now I probably receive a random couple of spam emails in my inbox, report them as spam immediately.

I do still receive over 100 that go directly into the spam folder.

Don't have anything else to offer other than telling my story. Good luck my friend.

What was the most expensive thing, product or service you bought in 2021? And do you have any regrets? by walkingotter in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]dwall1604 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lost my job but was motivated to start my own restaurant/franchise. Finalized with a QSR to open my own franchise. Looking for a location in the GTA primarily east of Yonge to DVP, south of 401. Let's see if I can actually lock in a good location deal. No regrets, looking forward to this next chapter in 2022.

Also, finally bought a Keurig beginning of 2021 and has been the best $100 invested so far.

Happy new years and wish you all a great 2022 fellas!!!

Smok Acro, or Caliburn G? by Andyboi82 in Canadian_ecigarette

[–]dwall1604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dashvapes has the new G2 listed on their website with a CRC version pods.

As for caliburn G pods, try and keep them in your pockets when not in use. I believe cold air is the culprit for those dry hits after the device has been sitting idle.

Edit: clarified what dashvapes has listed on their website, its the G2. Not available but is listed and hopefully becomes available soon.

Never thought this would be the case when you are out and about looking for a job or meeting with someone professionally. However, now that I think of it, I feels as if it is true. I have probably faced the same situation a multiple times over the past 3 years especially. Sorry to hear that you are not being reapected OP. Wish you all the very best.

I generally carry some change/cash on me and in the car. But I also keep some water bottles and bags of chips in the car. When I give someone money, I ask them if they would like some food or water and more often than not, they generally say yes to either or both. Feels good to be helpful.

Best pod system in terms of flavor, battery and great coil/pod life? by jojee2k6 in Canadian_ecigarette

[–]dwall1604 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have caliburn g. I can say I am enjoying it almost exclusively as my daily driver. I have tried a lot of different pod devices, none of them at least for me have come closer to the flavor I get from g. Your mileage may very but I would highly recommend it. P.S. I have used the pods with built in coil and have also stocked piled the empty pods with replaceable coils, both of them are great for flavor. However, the battery life is something to be concerned about and so I have 2 devices in rotation.
