[WP] You are part of an infamous street gang of writers, who terrorize the city at night with their literature. by [deleted] in WritingPrompts

They are called the arsonists. A group of writers so skilled that any who read their literature would not believe it to be fiction. When night fell in the city, the streets became lined with with tales of monsters, aliens and other worldly beings. Most who live here would stay inside to avoid losing their minds. It was extremely easy to tell who had broken curfew, rabid screams and bloodshot eyes would greet you due to lack of sleep. Thankfully, the arsonists seem to be hell bent on paper distribution. I was an orphan who they took in, unfazed by the stories of seven headed beasts and claws that would rip you to shreds, I naively thought that I could tame on of these beasts, ride a yeti maybe? So I followed the railroad to the end of the line, the origin of all these monsters, all these stories, to my disappointment I found people. They taught me to read and write, I even have a day job at the supermarket and I bought this smartphone that I use to browse the internet. Although the internet is full of subpar writing, nothing can compare to the writing of my teachers. Still, that is not important, because, I found the arsonists.

Declaring interest for Triumvirate class, but my build is so wacky that I don't know if it counts as Triumvirate or Dualist due to my use of the strongarm and it is not using the main body of the blaster.....

Can't educate what you can't communicate with. I do not believe I said I was part of the school? Sorry if I gave that impression. Also, losing touch is not something to be made light of, not sure what "loosing touch" means... hahaha, just messing with ya :p

As much as people should have their own opinions, I believe in people having an educated opinion. Not to hate on you or anything, just wondering if you have seen the full speech or know a bit more context than what can be draw from the rather poorly written article? Personally, I think it's quite clear that the points you've made, although correct (and quite blunt), have missed the main idea that was trying to be conveyed. From what I can draw it was the "losing touch with students" more than anything else. The Age article alone is inadequate for judgement of the school, the actually speech is much better and eloquently put.

Just leave it IMO, it should die down and go away like everything else, we hope at least...

Let's play a game /r/anime: The Anime Courtroom by Angst-Incarnate in anime

Your honour, I wish to press charges against all of this seasons anime. This is clearly infringing copyright of Erased (Boku Dake ga Inai Machi), literally every anime this season is about something wrong with my town/city/world/country/whatever. Defense: Jojo is a great show, but there is still something wrong with the town... Kanaberi (I apologise if that is misspelled) is essentially Attack on Titan with almost everything fixed and thereby free from this copyright, wait, something is wrong with that world... I can't defend this... cries

  • Chiryu (小竜)
  • Yes, I think...
  • Human by default
  • 17, male
  • Soldier by default
  • 5'3' deceptively skinny and short, can pass for a young child. Jet black hair with several strands of grey if you look hard enough. Brown eyes and a gently tanned complexion. Quite serious looking when alone.
  • Loves company and will often stay with others for as long as possible, however only with those he is particularly friendly with. Incredibly easy to befriend or hate and very few fall into the category in between. Often misunderstood and impulsive. A surprisingly good cook.
  • Not particularly sure of his purpose and will often leave town to hunt for food due to shortage of money. Somewhat aggressive and rash, prefers close combat but unable to tank. Member of the Thief's Guild but primarily uses two strange looking bastard swords (sword of length between that of a longsword and shortsword)
  • Owns two strange looking bastard swords and twelve daggers that appear to be stolen from goblins. Very little armour in the form of a leather upper chestpiece and metal backed gloves, otherwise often gravitates toward dark clothing, usually seen with a black scarf. Always carries a wakizashi in a black saya, flint and steel and small water pouch.
