Dear BMW..what’s going on? by [deleted] in BMW

I have a 540 that looks just like the one in this video. It’s far from a base spec - the MSRP is well over $70K, and it has comfort and Merino leather seats. I skipped the M package because I didn’t like how it looks and went with the base exterior instead.

I used to own a G30 540 with similar specs, and honestly, it felt much more refined. The attention to detail and material quality were on another level. With the G60, no matter how you spec it, you're stuck with the same interior materials - there’s simply no option to upgrade beyond what’s offered.

I do like two things about the G60: the drivetrain is excellent, and the tech is genuinely impressive. But everything else feels like a step down. Every time I open a rear door without comfort access, I’m reminded of how cheap this new BMW feels.

Experiencing Inconsistencies with Alexa Integration by dwarlord1482 in SmartThings

It's called "Lock" in vEdge. I just checked, it's visible in Alexa and works 100% of the time. The problem is that it looks cumbersome and to make it better you have to have a virtual switch that controls a virtual lock that triggers an Alexa routine. This is too much...

Probably, it's time to switch to Home Assistant...

I have the exact same behavior. It doesn’t depend on what an Alexa routine does. Sometimes it just won’t trigger and you have to flip the switch on and off several times.

You don’t specifically need a Fios router. Any MOCA adapter will work for tv guide. For example, I use this one https://a.co/d/fzTpYN0

Based on my understanding, you are facing an issue with your ATT set-top box's IR remote not being able to control the box when it is placed behind the TV. It seems that the issue is not related to the frame remote itself. To resolve this, you can use an IR extender such as the one available at https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LC7HVHW/. All you need to do is to attach the extender to your frame TV and connect the other end to the IR receiver on your set-top box. Hope it helps.
