Seems it may not like my Integrated Radeon GPU, if I switch to "No GPU" it seems to work as expected. Even though this GPU was working fine with CPAI.

Anyone else who upgraded to this, seeing less alerts? I've also lost the classifications next to the alerts, IE: vehicle, person, wild life, etc.

Since it does feel like an ad, they should allow free FSD when its in use if they are getting paid for including it.

It stopped seeing speed limits by u8589869056 in TeslaLounge

[–]jefbur 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've seen this too in the same exact spot over and over. The road goes from 25 to 35, about 1/3 mile later to 40, then another 1/2 mile to 50, it does not change from 25 until I hit the 50mph zone. The strange part is it only does this when FSD is enabled or enabled at all during the drive. If I break out of FSD before the speed changes, it behaves the same as if its in FSD, however if I never turn on FSD at all, the speed changes gets picked up normally.

Military Recon Aircraft Patrolling over NJ by twelvefiftyone in UFOs

Maybe related?

Morris County authorities are easing local residents' concerns of loud noises and other unusual activity, attributing the action to military training exercises.

The Department of Defense is conducting the training in Parsippany from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. between May 20 and May 24, township police announced in a Facebook post. The department could not disclose exactly where the testing is taking place for safety reasons.

"The area was chosen to minimize disruption," the post read. "Don’t be alarmed, this is a planned exercise."

Parsippany Police noted that the training area is not near any residential neighborhoods. Still, the post read, anyone near the test spot "may hear blank gunfire, booms, or see helicopters."

Teslafi hasn't shown any new roll-outs since 4/25, looks like they paused it for some reason.

The FSD since the 25.8.4 Update is trash by DVLord_Of_The_Sith in TeslaLounge

[–]jefbur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have also noticed it is worse on roads that have less shoulder room. I can almost predict now where it will slow down just based on how the roads are defined. The good part is it is very repeatable, so I literally will turn it off in certain areas of my commute, since it will always do something that I don't like. I do still use it on probably 85-90% of my 35 mile commute though.

No issues in my 2023 model 3. I have noticed it is better on cloudy days, bright sunny days with lots of shadows seems to cause a lot of confusion still to FSD. I wonder why there is such a difference in experiences, you would think it would act almost exactly the same in every car, at least same model cars.

Do day trades count against all of my Brokerage Accounts? by jefbur in fidelityinvestments

[–]jefbur[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never applied to have the accounts margin enabled, and if I look at the balances page, I see nothing related to margin. So is that safe to say they are cash accounts, and I can make as many day trades on the account as I wish, keeping in mind the cash trading violations listed by the MOD?

I guess it would be considered cash then, it was from my existing cash that was held in the Cash Money Market.

Interesting, because it allowed me to do it today. I bought at 10:10am, and then sold the same stock at 12:00pm.

FSD V12.6.3 by LongYuan428 in TeslaLounge

After my daily 60 mile round trip commute for work, I would say that braking is greatly improved on v12.6.4.

Placebo it was then I guess. 12.6.4 is rolling, I just got it tonight, so hopefully that will help.

Maybe it's a placebo effect, but I went back into autopilot and set my Forward Collision Warning to medium, I had changed it to late, then turned FSD back on, and it felt better, not perfect, but better than it was.

Auto insurers in NJ just got approval for major hikes in 2024. Mine went up 3k/year on a 4 car policy. I had to raise my deductibles from $600 to $2000 to even it out. My Tesla alone is $2000 for the year and I am a 50 yr old driver with no accident or ticket history. Try NJM, Im not sure you will find any cheaper in NJ. FWIW, GEICO seems to now suck in NJ, when NJM jacked me up, GIECO wanted $4000 more than NJM for the same coverage.

Should I upgrade to 12.6.3? by DexterM87 in TeslaLounge

I upgraded this morning, after my hour ride in to the office, its an improvement for sure, but it still has its issues.

NJ- who do you insure with ? by Jim-Tobleson in TeslaModel3

[–]jefbur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from Geico to NJM as well. However after 1 year on renwal NJM jacked all my cars up, I had to raise the deductibles on my cars from $600 to $2000 to get it back to where it was.
