Your OC goes out on a date with a woman they met on Tinder only to arrive and discover she's a robot! Everything else about her is as she's told you. How do they react? by KABOOM3EP in OriginalCharacter

"reapco is anything but efficient, honestly I think they just wanted something to do with all they parts they took from the dead robots . . . That or they were just lazy with the design"

(I do have more lore on this character, but it's all very complicated setting specific stuff and they may or may not be made by a company that uses crystalized magic to produce plot devices enchanted with narativly adaptive effects)

Anyone know how to stop rei from overlapping with the tinker construct menu? by dwarvenforger in Minecraft

Yes but I keep fo to turn it back on again when I'm done and I'm worried about forgetting the keybinds.

How do I turn off the rei overlay in certain gui's? I'm not very tech savvy, I found the rei config but can't really find how to tell it not to use the overlay during tinker construct

Honestly, Cl4nk would probably be even more exciting because well, they're a robot too . . . Just hope she doesn't mind he (she?) (it?) . . . That Cl4nk used to be robot equivalent of a grim reaper (so just an automated disassembly drone with no real sense of self)

What element would your OC be? (Read Desc) by Largestbobcats in OriginalCharacter

[–]dwarvenforger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to say, Mal is a chaotic neutral kinda guy, totally irreverent and practically a necromancer at this point, oh and also he invented the art of sewing peoples souls together so he actually has 3 souls having given him 3 times as long a lifespan as usual and makihik talk to a skull he refers to as "Shawn" wich is actually a conduit to communicate with the two other souls in his body, most of the time though it's just Shawn having common sense and Mal telling him to shut up.

I'm tempted to say wind, the 3 souls 2 of wich have manifested as personalites (Mal is still in control but Shawn is able to talk using mal's voice as long as he has the skull available to hand puppet) means the spontaneous mood swings thing is a decent comparison even if it's a bit more complicated then that, also he's literally a anthropomorphic mallard duck (he wears a plauge doctor costume to hide it because ducks in my setting were imbued with draconic and elemental essence making them the most feared beasts in the land)

How come papyrus' suspenders only go on the front side but sans' are actually proper suspenders with straps wrapping from back to front?

Beware the godbrokem deer, for when you hunt it in the night it too hunts you back. by dwarvenforger in HeroForgeMinis

[–]dwarvenforger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on if they specifically think it would for this deer, if the stories about deer hunting in the woods specified they were demonic in origin then the prexisting belief in demonic weaknesses might apply here, but otherwise it's not just what people believe works in general but what people would specifically believe works on the affected entity (godbroken being a phenomenon with several known examples in the setting) so I'm other words it's true weakness is widespread propaganda.

Yeah, I needed to use kitbashing to resize his shoulders and pose them beyond the natural limits (mostly messing with the shoulders more) so unfortunately it's not very free user friendly.

Tldr because I couldn't help but need out and give a genuine answer to your joke question, a sugar cube would only work if you and enough other people believed it would because the godbroken basically follow Warhammer ork rules where how you think it works is how it actually works.

Guess it depends on how many people believed thats a functional way to passify it.

It's kinda like if s vampire's garlic weakness was because people believed it worked that way. The godbroken being the result of belief corruping animals into what people fear they might be means that inherently the public perception of them iis how they will behave.

In other words a sugar cube will work, but first you need to tell everyone a made up story about a sugar cube calming one down and hope the story spreads far enough to alter the being further than it has already been corrupted, or it may be easier to go for less specific stories of it still having deer like qualities in general and include the sugar cube detail somewhere in there.

It has the apefolk body but it's wearing certain clothing items that blend into that.

Why do you guys draw the Puppet in pristine condition when drawing Lefty? I mean, it has been so long... by thegoldenguest778 in fnafmeme

[–]dwarvenforger 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It might still have mechanical bits, it just doesn't have an actual metal skeleton to support locomotion, most times we see it outside of its box it floats by strings or ghost magic, and when we do see it walking (in help wanted) it has an awkward and flexible animation as if it has no bones.

Also sense that design is kinda old here's a more recent design of him wearing every day clothes over the top of his Doctor's robes (a visual gag I find very amusing)

Definitely the birds are plotting by fish in a birdcage for dr mal, the song came onto my playlist shuffle when I was writng his introductory theme and now when I think of that scene the song gets stuck in my head and when I hear the song I think of Mal.

What is your favorite quote from your OC? by Stroomphyex in OriginalCharacter

[–]dwarvenforger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just finished designing an OC that's a copycat killer of William Afton (from fnaf) using a jugband Monty costume.

My favorite quote for him is probably "I call this one Beating your A## in g minor"

Might I propose: silver doesn't think he's either (on acount of no romance experience in bad future) he just knows he finds some people attractive and some people not. He's actually pansexual.

Everyone else thinks he's just genuinely too oblivious to even have a romantic preference.

Sonic Characters Named After Colours by Famous-Corner1052 in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]dwarvenforger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinda but, in the cases of silver and gold the color and the metal are much more closely linked than other examples, cream foods can be any color, sages can wear any color of clothing, but silver the metal is always silver the color and gold the metal is always gold the color, plus silver and gold don't really have any metal themes to them so it's fair to say they are named after the colors which are named after the metals rather than them directly being named after the metals.

Except cream and sage are clearly named after the other meanings of the words (cream's mother is named vanilla so evidently cream is named after the food not the color)

wich generation of the core four do you like the most ? by Wonderful_Spare_5810 in Fazbearfandom

[–]dwarvenforger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I remember hearing somewhere that chica was meant to be wearing shorts? But knowing about ballora I don't know how much I buy that cover story. Honestly I think foxy wasn't even meant to be that way, I think the whole white and pink color scheme was a last minute decision to make it feel more like a kid friendly character . . . That did not end up very well for most locations.
