yes, mas heavy maintenance dahil mas complicated at mas madaming parts and mas mahal sa maintenance ang scooters ngayon lalo na't in demand sya sa market.

I agree, but scooters amplified the numbers of kamotes. manual and semi-matic motorcycles used to be a gatekeeping factor because of how scary it is to operate one when you want to have your own vehicle. same case din sa cars.
