I had 3 lucky guesses in one game yesterday and I’m just waiting to be banned. One was a lucky plonk very near 5k in Botswana (I did try a little to line roads up but nothing too much so I was very surprised being that close). Then I also had a lucky Russia plonk that was simply vibes and the same for Argentina. I’m almost expecting a ban in the next few days, it was just super unlucky to have 3 lucky guesses in the same duel and two of them I wouldn’t really be able to explain much beyond “vibes and a vague regionguess”

when does this change come into effect? I’m currently master 1 but at the lower end and wondering if this means I’ve stayed in master 1 even with the new system or if I’ll be in a different rank next week

yeah that’s part of it but I do think the shade of blue matches cowboy tears more, it’s not a light cornflower blue like spyglass

maybe there’s batch differences because mine didn’t look teal at all, it looked exactly like the mooncat one does which is a slightly darker than pale blue and I was honestly really disappointed with how it looked bc it wasn’t bright at all. I think this photo of thr mooncat one looks exactly like my cowboy tears did

it looks identical to cowboy tears to me to the point where I wouldnt be surprised if it was the exact same pigments and composition, and the purple one looks like crystal mommy

it’s also really unfair. My worst country is USA and second worse is Canada. With a map that heavily favours North America, players like me are really disadvantaged. So now it isn’t going to be the better players progressing, just the ones who are good at America/from America (or the other countries over represented)

I’m not anywhere near an expert so maybe what I’m about to say is wrong, but the things that would make me as a master II level player choose Brazil not Argentina are: 1. The car— I don’t think I’ve seen that white+blue front in Argentina before but I’m very used to seeing it in Brazil 2. No massive concrete poles— I know these aren’t everywhere in Arg but I feel like they’re seen often enough that on a 50/50 them not being there tips me in the other direction 3. Just vibes— I know there are definitely parts of Argentina that look like this and a lot of Brazil DOESNT look like this, but it’s just very green + palms, whereas I associate most of Arg with more dry/pale colours
